The orginal was, excuse my french, kick-a.ss, in all litteral honesty.

Yeah, i know. Though rarely the reboot can be entertaining enough that i could watch a full episode. :T

Yes. Some episodes are okay.

Here's how to reboot successfully in my eyes:

1-Bring back at least half the orginal voice cast, or a voice cast that can immitate the original voices well.

2- Keep the art style: This helps in people wanting to watch the original series.

3-Make it a continuation from the final aired season, or continue a similar plot set-up. Things can be different here, but still give the audiance a taste of what the original show was.
4- NEVER USE POP CULTURE REFERANCES. This is a sign of huge failure on the cast and crew's part. Everyone thinks that pop culture from four years prior is helarious. It's not.

5-Finally, no self inserts. That's just lazy writting.
