Antinick: *mumbles* That little bear was in the way.

Me: So you ripped it to shreds? Why did you think that would help?

Antinick: He ate all my peanut butter cookies!

Me: Since when do you like peanut butter cookies?

Antinick: Since now!

obviously he has some anger issues.... don't worry im scheduling an appointment for him.

Re: My inspiration comes from various sources, including my love for all things fantasy. But the things. I can suggest to you would be music and Pinterest. On Pinterest, I see outstanding dragon art and other things like it which encourages me to climb to that level. When it comes to music, I pick songs that create images and scenes in my head, like the soundtracks played in movie trailers. Some of my favorite productions are Two Steps from Hell and Future World Music, but you choose whatever inspires you!
As for your second question, I improve mainly by studying what I want to draw. Since a dragon is not a real creature, I study images and charts of various animals like lizards, cats, dinosaurs, and birds, then mix their anatomy together to make a realistic-looking dragon. As I often say, you can't draw something if you don't know what it looks like. But when you study a picture and find those things out, you'll discover it's much easier to draw it on paper.

I hope that helps! :)

Oh, and learning how the creature's system works helps a ton too. Sometimes I'll imagine myself in the pose that I'm drawing and it helps me to figure out where the muscles are flexing and what parts of the body are being strained.

Hey Spiraling, would you mind if I posted my drawing of Natalia on another website? It won't be the full image, and there are very few people there so chances of copying are small, but I just want to make sure it's okay with you.
