I'm thinking of making a new character, but I was wondering about the magic that mages use. Are they able to use dark magic or not?

Once you get back, I want to talk to you about the Items/Objects/Eeapons people have been making. I feel they may make things complicated. Please lemme know what your thoughts are on this. Because I feel these special items if not inspected to be sure they're not overpowered. May destroy many possible roleplay options and possibilities. I mean if there are TOO many special items, the point of having special items becomes pointless. This is very important. Because people have started making ALOT of special items.

@Kohai I hope your father feels better. I know how it feels to injure your back REALLY bad. I am actually still suffering from my back injury. Car accident ;-:

I have an Extra lore idea/proposal. That you might be interested in. The lore goes that a time ago when man has been created(Were there other beings too?) an elven species known as the Hablen have rose up and hid with their gifted intelligence but that soon will end when Destria curses them to another realm by the elves creating a shield that produces infinte amounts of energy by any wielder. The elves were soon cursed. And the shield destroyed. But the plans and enchantment still remain to be rebuilt. This shield is simply known as Zanion Infinitus. Zanion stands for power. And Infinitus stands for Infinite. But the shield has three phases it must go through to be a source of infinte power. The first boon is absorb. The second is expel. And the final is absorb. This "weapon" would be cursed and destroyed. But a forgemaster known as Halbert is trying to rebuild what his grandfather was trying to repair. And his father was closer than his grandfather to completing it. But Hal soon-Cont.

-found the last bit of osmium required to build a orbiting shard. The shard cannot orbit until the enchantment is applied. But when it is applied. The shield will be a result of greed. When Hal successfully rebuilds it. He and his colleague use it against the Brintoligniun bandit city. Which they realize what happens later on. The night sky turns to day and they can see 7'4" figures walk up a hill side. And then they simply look down amongst the devastated city and choose it as their base. As soon as Hal and his colleague leave. They discover two days later from Brintoli. That large elvish figures have taken over and are trying to find something. That thing is the Zanion Infinitus. This endeavor that Hal and his colleague made was surely a dumb one. But he didn't know why his grandfather wanted to build it in the first place. But he soon discovers the potential of its sheer destructive energies. It can use the air and destroy buildings. It can basically use the elements of Destria.

But as soon as the endeavor is over. The shield/weapon is weakened. No longer becoming a leech of power. But instead absorbing it and expelling it. It simply turns into an Aspect of Zanion. The shield can absorb incoming magic of anykind. And expell when needed. Basically holding a fireball for use. Or whatever it may be. The shield starts overpowered. Then it gets dull pretty fast during this campaign. Losing its infinite energy source abilities. Turning into a useful aspect. I hope you like my idea. But yeah. I like to collaborate. This would also help explain why Hal's weapons are powerful. But not overpowered. He uses his mace on a specific occasion. But most of the time no. He likes to swap between his many different weapon choices that are also enchanted. With limited abilities. Some slightly better than others. Hope you like my proposal. It seems long and lengthy. But hey. I like making stories/lores.

(This may conflict with the current story. But you don't have to accept it.)

Well. Looks like I'm going to have to look for my own path. Not saying for Destria. But I plan on continuing my series that I am working on in real life. Especially this summer. I think I may recline my membership until further notice. But thank you for hearing me out.
