Fun fact! Cyanide doesn't really have a taste when mixed into foods, and, as such, is one of the more popular ways to poison someone via food intake.
I do recall reading about someone committing sui.cide by eating a mouthful of cyanide and reporting that this sodium cyanide tasted "acidic" in their death note.
