A while back, an African village was wiped out almost entirely by a plague, with the exception of the witch doctor - preserved with black magic.
Mad with grief, the man eventually lost his mind completely. In a last-ditch attempt to bring them back, he through deeply taboo practices brought the villagers' consciousnesses back from the afterlife to inhabit bizarre wooden dolls like the one seen above.
He now sits alone with them in his delapitated hut, disillusioned beyond possible repair.
