a bit of an explanation of them:
they were adopted at the same time, Basil being a year older. Since they were close in age they were always so close. As they got older, Basil developed a lot of fears and anxiety for things, Donovan feels bad for his brother and tries to cheer him up every way he can. Which in the drawing Basil was having a break down while trying to hide from Donovan so he wouldn't worry, but Donovan found him and is trying to comfort him. Basil usually cries so much that blood comes out of his mouth(not a lot, a tiny bit) and his eyes become a bit red. Basil left Donovan for a few years after he was done learning, he went with his friends, leaving Donovan, by this time Donovan had developed separation anxiety.(fun fact: my cat Nugget has seperation anxiety) Donovan moved in with Basil a few months later. Together they are happy.

there is a lot more to their story but that's all I am saying, also there Adoptive parents were quite nice.
