Also! Wings are kiiiiinnda structured like arms. The way they bend and fold is similiar to how we can bend our arms.
And there are different wing types- Seagulls, hummingbirds, chickens and eagles all have differently shaped wings. You can take advantage of that and draw your pony with whatever kind of wing type. (I love the wings that birds of prey have, so those are what I draw)
