Located is swampy areas, the #Merswampians are a branch of species that connect to the Frostmaids but under different conditions they evolved to handle the murky waters & sludgy moist place. They have full pupil eyes and are said to be like flying fish when jumping out of the waters. Their tails are thick to be able to swim in the sluggy waters & have sharp teeth to eat other aquatic things in the water. Humans being pray aswell. Their colors ranging in dirty greens, grays & black aswell.

The species are very prideful & don't like to admit defeat. The men of their species are more rough then normal & this is why the female are very vishious. These mer-folk wear leather like covers as clothing to keep their sexuality from peeking. Webbed hands for helping them swim better & a pair of fins to act as wings. They strongly dislike the cold & will bury themselves in mud to keep warm from cold nights. Their home is made of the roots of swamp trees that stick into/out from the waters & they are very suspicious of others. Lurking in the water, waiting for their pray.They don't have much to eat, resulting in their horrid manners & attitude.
