The Beast looked at the teenager with intentions to make a deal he knew the other would not pass up. The Beast would give Greg, who was shrouded in branches at the moment, an oppurtunity to return home safely. But this would only occur if Wirt, the older brother of Greg, would agree to his deal. "I..." Wirt clenched his fingers tightly around the lantern in his hand. He took a deep breath and exhaled heavily, a sigh to indicate that he would make the deal. "I...accept the deal, I will stay here and feul the lantern...but it is only for my brother to return home safely." He sneered, "You lie about the souls of others being trapped in this lantern...I know who I am really protecting, and to be honest, I do not care. So long if my brother is in the safety of our parents." He huffed, "Restate the other part of the deal, I only caught on to bearing the lantern." The Beast moved in closer and hummed, "My soul is not the only thing you will bear Wirt, I assure you." -to be cont. eventually.

Wirt gave the Beast a confused look, he would not understand no matter how much poetry he had spoken, things that were meant to be metephorical but also taken literally made his head spin, "Alright...fine then, just spit out stupid riddles like that then." His eyes shifted to where Greg was being covered in snow now, his eyes watered. "Release him...I accept the deal."
The beast replied deeply, "As I promised...he will go back home safely." He then released his branches from Greg and the little boy disappeared. Wirt could only pray the other gave his word honestly, and that Greg was safe in their parents arms now. He shivered and one glance up was all it took to realize that the Beast was right over him. The branches that surrounded his brother did so to him. Though, they were not tight, they were loose, especially around his stomach. "So...all I have to do it take these trees and make feul for your soul?" The dark figure shifted "Yes...and...bear my child."

Wirts eyes widened and he nearly fell back with the lantern in hand. Stumbling and trying to regain his balance he was suddenly grabbed and embraced by the Beast, all Wirt heard before his mind started to drift elsewhere, was the soft whisper of the tree like creature, "Hush...sleep, give my seed time to grow..."
The night passed so quickly for Wirt, he remembered those last words spoken before he knocked out, he placed his hand on the lamp first and checked the flame. After realizing this was not a dream, like he thought his whole entire adventure around the Uknown had been, he restated what the Beast said, "My seed...time to grow...bear my child..." He placed one hand to his mouth and was quite unsettled for a bit before he moved his hand from the lantern to his stomach, then he just...stopped.
"...So...was this worth my half brother...was it?" He started to think about his brother and he grit his teeth, "O...of course he was Wirt...s..stop thinking that!"

He choked and glanced forward, glaring into the empty woods, when he actually bothered to look around he was imediately greeted face to face with the creature he had passed out on the night before. Wirt screamed, quite a high pitched scream too. The Beast just stared down at the other and laughed hard at the others reaction. Wirt covered his mouth and blushed deeply. "Why do you pop up like that! Do you want to give a heart attack to the person who will fuel your lantern?!"
The Beast paused his laughing fit and he placed his hand on Wirt's shoulder, "I did not pop up, I was here ever since you passed out on me...you just found out how to actually use your preferal vision." Wirt crossed his arms and tried to brush the other's hand off his shoulder.

"You had spoken about Edelwood...where may I obtain this?" Wirt looked over at the Beast in attempt to get the information. The Beast replied quickly, "The branches around you are Edelwood, but you will not use that...that is to give energy to my seed." Wirt quickly retorted, "Our seed...if I carry it...I get credit too." Beast groaned, "Fine...our seed is given energy by your soul...so you will have to collect oil from other wood I have made in my forest...understood?"
Wirt made a face which indicated how unimpressed he was, "Sure..." He got up off the other and stretched, "Well, now that I am stuck here, I have nothing better to do then chop wood, fuel you and wander around the Unknown." While trying to get up so he could follow the other, Beast hummed, "I have been hearing every word you spoke to that bird...Beatrice. You said you play clarinet and write poetry...?"
Wirt stopped dead in his tracks and cringed, "D..don't speak of that!" He turned around quickly to find Beasts mouth

Before he could try to place his hand to the mouth of the creature, which may or may not be there, he was abruptly stopped and pulled into an embrace of a smooth edelwood body, he tried to escape it, but somehow, his body did not want to obey his mind at the moment. Beast held him close and started to sing a soft, deep song. Not like that others Wirt has heard before, this one was calmer and sounded more loving than the others, which sounded awfully terrifying to the teen at first. At this point, he stopped trying to move. He listened carefully to the creatures melodic tune. "As warm as the summer, and soft spring streams. I will adore more, of your silence and dreams. Autumn night breeze, so calm, so brisk. I wish every day was as meaningful to me...as this...day...is...and it's all because of you...the child I tried to kill, I have learned your personality, and your will...I wish you would see, you have changed who I am..."

Wirt got so lost in the others words, he had almost forgotten how much he did not trust the other, how awful he had acted before. No matter how much his mind tried to bring back all these things, he was prone to, like almost every young adult, believe until decieved again. "I...will trust that you have changed for me...I know, maybe not for everybody else, but this was all for my brother, it was never for you. Understand that clearly." He mumbled under his breath. Beast leaned down, his face closer to Wirts, "Only a matter of time before you were happy you made the choice to stay with me. As I promised, I sent Greg to your house, the safety is assured, and it will not change, even if you were to betray me...the betrayer..." Wirt made a 'pfft' sound and bit his lip, "Alright...I won't betray you, I have some sense of dignity, unlike you." Beast narrowed his bright white eyes a bit, "Do you wish to test me? I will show you how much dignity I have..." Wirt snorted, "Go ahead."

Beast hesitated to say anything. Wirt watched him, not as eagerly as he said he would. "I will treat you with chivalry...is that what you call it?" Wirt's expression went blank, "...Creature...you need to learn what words mean before you spurt them out to random people. Chivalry is showing respect to a woman...you, are most certainly not thinking I am a woman are you?" Wirt looked kinda aggitated. Beast replied, "What if I do...you are carrying a child..." Wirt grumbled, "In a womb you probably pushed my internal organs away to place inside me! I am pretty sure I am not capable of surviving as long as this 'seed' takes to become a smaller version of you!" Wirt placed his hand to his stomach and pushed down, at that moment he felt a great searing pain in his lower abdomen. Beast walked over to Wirt and wrapped his hands around the burning area, this calmed down the pain and Wirt looked utterly confused. "You...can help me with the pain?" The dark figure gave a nod and he looked around.

Wirt spoke with a concerned tone, "Why are you looking around?" Beast clasped his hand to the others mouth. Wirt started to scream into his hand, but was quickly shut up by the creature sliding his other hand under Wirt's cloak and shirt, and stroking his stomach. "Hush...I hear him..." Wirt did not move, he was now paralyzed by how good the smooth wood hands felt against his stomach. His mind was still trying to make a run for it, but his body would not do the same. A loud whistling came from the east side of the forest, followed by a few crunching sounds of the dried autumn leaves on the ground. "T...thats the woodsman." Wirt finally let some memory flow to the front of his head, "Why is he back here, I thought he left when I took the lantern." Beast muttered, "Just because I am covering your mouth and you cannot speak verbally, does not mean you can think what you want to say either." Wirt looked up at the other with eyes wide, "You...can read my thoughts?"

As the woodsman came closer, the Beast stopped replying to Wirt's thoughts and he pulled Wirt into his body, soon enough Wirt could only see dark and feel branches covering him from the outside, it was broad daylight, and Wirt still could not see a sliver of light he thought could seep through even the thickest of branches. He huffed and curled up, wrapping his lanky arms around himself and trying to sleep. Not long after, he found himself in a comfortable position and he knocked out as fast as a switch could be flicked off. Beast held the other securely inside him while he slowly moved away from the light of the woodsman. He already had the thought of the day lying heavy on his conscience. "Get away from me with that light...you monster." He said this as if the woodsman was a Beast and he was nothing but the victim. Even though it was the other way around, it still made sense. He feared that the woodsman wouldtake his lantern away like he had before.

Wirt shifted in the branches of the others body. Beast tightly wrapped him in and moved deeper into the woods, he found a huge tree and blended into it perfectly. When the woodsman walked past, the creature closed his eyes and waited, all the while feeling slight movements from Wirt, by slight, it was actually jerks, like the teen was in pain. Beast looked around and spoke quietly, "Are you alright?" Wirt coughed out a small response, "Yes...fine..." Then he huffed and rubbed his stomach roughly. Beast could tell the other was being hurt, either by the seed finally sprouting, or his branches digging into Wirt's sides. He tried to loosen his grip on the other and he muttered, "Would you like me to see what is wrong?" Wirt growled, "I think that is impossible." He glared at the branches in front of him, like Beast could see through his body or something. Beast replied softly, "It is, I will do it the same way I placed the womb inside you."
