In the Zeharu home world, this island specifically is designed for the Ice Zeharu and Ice Hybrid Zeharu.

The temperatures are frigid to say the least, a human would die from the extreme cold in 5 minutes or less.

Not to mention the entire island is a giant sheet of ice, with deadly drop offs. The Ice variants find it fun to slide down them, kind of like penguins, they'll slide on their bellies when they're feeling too lazy to fly or want to race others. Their sharp claws allow them to easily dig into the ice and change their direction.

The island itself is usually ravaged by vicious ice storms, the large mountain like icicles have been known to snap off in these storms and impale any unfortunate soul close enough.
