One of the most important parts of drawing hands are the thumbs. Try practicing that. ^-^ The thumbs are a bit more complicated.

I suck with hands, myself, but I know a few tricks on drawing them :o

The base shape of the hand is a boxy shape.
Before you try adding any fingers, draw the box shape first. Then you can start adding the fingers.
The outward side of the index and pinky fingers align with the edge of the hand/box.

The thumb has a sorrta rounded triangular shape where it attaches to the hand - it's important to add that or else it'll look off.
If you stretch your hand out and look at the base of your thumb, you can see that triangular shape :o
Atleast, I see it on my right hand, but my right thumb is double jointed so maybe it's irregular looking.
