Just as a tip, my man, try charming people into looking at your stuff, rather than asking them to. Complimenting their strong-suits and pointing out good critiques is a good way to make friends here, as long as they're cool with it.
Asking them questions is good too, as people tend to reply on your most recent painting, and will have to see it in order to answer it. See ya around! :D
