The real Ciel is dead by Plosh-Kun
I had this realisation when I was re-reading Black Butler, I noticed smth during the Atlantic and the Witches arcs that totally blew my mind.
The character we know that calls himself Ciel Phantomhive lied from the start, his real name is not Ciel. Ciel was the name of his twin brother who died during the ritual that summoned Sebastian.
It's just a theory from now, but I'm totally sure it's canon, there's way too much evidences.

For the one who didn't understand, the boy one the right is the real Ciel that died during the summoning, and the boy on the left is his twin brother who made a contract with Sebastian. We don't know his real name for now, but he stole his brother's identity for unknown reasons, so people call him "Fake Ciel".
And this drawing is the reproduction of a page in the manga (don't remember the chapter sorry) of the Atlantic Arc. The "Ciel is not here anymore" is exactly what Fake Ciel said during his flash back, and it's this sentence that made me question the entire series and made me think about the "Ciel's twin" theory for the first time.
It was the most mind-blowing moment of my entire life

wow!:O je connais pas grand chose de BB (j'ai vu que les 6 premiers episodes et j'ai lu aucun mangas...) mais ptn cette theorie est super cool?? Je devrais essayer le manga. Ca a l'air pas mal en vrai.
