The camp moniters used to sing some camp songs and i wish to find recordings of them so i can remember that part of my childhood but its hard because i dont know the name of them. This song is very similar to one of the camp song. it was about a tree and as it goes on, they talk about whats inside the tree and the heart of the-

the bird in the tree. The song has a similar concept to this one so i assume maybe some french person was inspired by this, but in execution, the songs song quite different. the french version has different lyrics and theres no mention of the grass, inside its just repeting whats in the tree and the tempo gets faster and faster. heres the lyrics i remember:
Dans l'arbre il y a un trou
[Dans l'arbre il y a un trou]
le trou est dans l'arbe
dans l'arbre il y a un trou
[this part im not too sure of because its sounds and not words or maybe its words i dont understand]
Au dela il ya tremblay, ... follaY!

dans le trou il y a un nis
[dans le trou il y a un nis]
le trou est dans l'arbre
dans l'arbre il y a un trou
le nis est dans le trou
dans le trou, il y a un nis

etc etc etc
anyways if anybody knows about these camp songs plz tell me. theres a few i remember too but i cant find:
-one about a kid crossing a bridge on the back of his pet pig
-a gum chewing bubble gum and who was playi

-ing with a yoyo
-[my personal favorite but its the hardest to find] basically it was a song where you made up stuff about a army, most commonly about the mexican army. it kinda went like this:
'ils vendent des crapauds aux soldats dans l'arm/ee m/exicaine' and it would be repeated and somebody would add onto it
-this one song that goes in forver because you sing about somebody then you swicht and sing about somebody else... its broad i know but it went something like this:
'je sais pas trop ton 'tit nom, je sais pas trop ton grand nom, mais charlot charlot c'est lui mon amour! charlot charlot, ...." i remember the rythm but not the lyrics so i cant portray it

i know most of you dont even speak french, but if theres a chance any of you know some camp songs plz tell me. im desprite to find them and now im too old to go to camp

Sorry, I don't know them. But they sound good! I don't really like much stuff meant for children, except for some kids songs. Jewel has a lot that I like. ^w^
I'm not sure, but she may have made twinkle twinkle little star...???
