This is #Taisho before he met Kai. He was the outcast in a high praised family. They were worshipped for their white hair which is why his is so long. He wasn't the happiest person because of the harassment from his family for not being born with all white hair. They saw him as a disgrace and locked him away.
Tai later chops off his hair as a sign of rebel and was kicked out of the village. He then meets this reckless women who shows him that nothing can stand in the way of what you believe in.
