Firstly, study, study, study your chosen subject. What shapes does it resemble? Always start with wire frames and skeletons when drawing people and animals. Study the light source. How does the object react to light and shade? Look at how the colours lighten and darken. When drawing buildings or scenes, always draw guides and grids to help you plan everything out and use the grid to help fill in detail correctly moving from square to square. Remember when drawing people with a simple wire frame to always keep it basic at first. You will only annoy yourself starting to draw detailed pictures that fail! You need to understand what you're drawing first. It's shape, posture, position, lighting, weight, height etc? Every single one of us can draw but we all draw in different styles. Keep practising and looking at other peoples art and you will find your own style :) Always draw, always study, always practise and never give up! :) *Liked
