Appearance

Ears/Tail
A glowing star’s ears and tail can be any shape or size of any mammal. At the base of the tail is a cotton ball of fluff. No one knows why the fluff is there, but it is the softest, most luxurious fluff of any creature. Inside the ears are two balls of fluff. It is made out of the same material as the fluff ball on the tail.

Hair
The hair is pretty much the same as a human’s except the galaxy highlights at the tips. A glowing star’s hair is differently colored depending on what type they are. If they are a solar type, they will have light hair and if they are an eclipse type, they have dark hair. A solar eclipse has a combo of light and dark colors in their hair. (The color rule applies for the tails as well.)

Eyes
A solar’s sclera is always white but their pupil and iris can be any color. An eclipse’s sclera is always black as well as their iris. The pupil is usually of a brighter color. A solar eclipse’s have one eye like a solar and the other like an eclipse.

Extra
Although uncommon, a glowing star can be born with markings. These markings can be in any pattern and color. They glow brightly when put in the dark.
Glowing stars can never be born with wings.
Special space glitter; a rare trait. It can form anywhere on the body and can be wiped off. It will paralyze someone(for about 48 hours) if they touch it.

Diet

All glowing stars can eat whatever they please but it does not satisfy hunger. To feed properly, they must absorb souls; hence the contract. Each type of glowing star can go different time periods without souls before they begin to starve/weaken:
Solar- 100
Eclipse- 90
Solar eclipse- 150

An eclipse will eat more souls than the other two types because of their power to break contract rules. They will never be full on souls, so most are quite greedy.
Glowing stars only need one soul to become fully fed. They usually make contracts with humans since they die at younger ages.

Planet jumping and habitat

Once a glowing star finds its ideal planet,(idea of ideal planet is different for each) they will stay there for the rest of their lives. When in space, they possess the ability to adapt to ANY planet, but once landing onto one, the ability goes away immediately. A solar eclipse however, can jump from planet to plant. The process of adapting to space and then adapting to another planet is a long and tiring process, so most solar eclipse types don’t do it unless they need to.

Powers

Solar
A solar glowing star can turn light into light objects(Note: They object will be well, light. So it will be extremely bright/white colored). They also are able to cast happy illusions as well as float. They cannot harm/kill their ‘master’ in any physical or magical way(They could still be mentally abusive etc). Solar glowing stars can also use light magic.

Eclipse
They are the opposite of the solar type; they are able to turn shadows into shadow objects. They can cast nightmare/dark illusions. They have the ability to break the contract rule of harming(magically and physically) the one they make a contract with. Like the solar types, they can float, however, they typically float upside down. They can use dark magic.

Solar Eclipse
They can turn both the shadows and light into actual objects (Effects don’t last forever) They can cast all types of illusions whether it be happy or sad or something else. They can also break contract rules, but usually don’t unless they have to. Can use both dark magic and light magic as well as float.

Reproduction

Mating
Since the gene pool for glowing stars quite large, female glowing stars don’t need another male glowing star to reproduce. To please the female, the potential mate must bring expensive or shiny things to her. If she accepts the gifts, the potential mate has succeeded in getting a mate. The female glowing star will bring her new mate into a private place(Could be a burrow, cave, building etc) and then the mating will begin. Some glowing stars mate for life, others don’t.
Females will stay pregnant for about 5 months until the child is ready. Once ready to birth a child, the female will go up into space just above her planet and give birth. She then creates a safety bubble around the child and goes back down to her planet.

Children
When a female glowing star mates will a different species, the baby will always appear in glowing star form.

As babies, they float around space in their protective bubble until they have reached about the age of a toddler(3-4 years usually). The bubble will then pop and they will begin their search for a planet. Finding the perfect planet can take years. Glowing stars children do not need to begin to start feeding until they reach the age of 15 so they have plenty of time to look for a home. Children are very independent do not need someone to look after them. They are very intelligent and figure things out on their own quickly. When born, a glowing star’s hair/tail is a singular color, they will get their galaxy highlights later in life.
(Note: Glowing stars age like humans until they reach the age 30. They cannot die of old age or sickness. They can only die of hunger or if they get killed)
