Poor Ojii (congrats if you get the nickname) loves to drink coffee- but when you're living in the apocolypse with your only daughter left, there's bound to be quite a few arguments...
In Ojii's dimension, Violet is alive due to having the same mark as Ren, and she lives with him. (This applies to the original Violet, but the only difference is that she didn't live with Ren, and he doesn't know she's alive.)
...It's ironic how Ojii doesn't have grandkids yet...
