[Roleplay idea]
(Lumen had sent a message to Mitena on the subject of her slight recolection of the Cor et Anima. He wished to meet with her and speak about it and her Void Eye if possible. And through a series of letters, the chose a neutral area to meet, a village in Affai close to Erul's eastern border.)

[Location: Korosuna City, Trading city on the edge of Erul and Afai's borders.] [Time: Mid day]

Lumen had scheduled a meeting with an acquiantence he met on a transport ship to Erul in the past. He took a boat from Citrine's northern coast to Afai's southern coastal city Fairine. From there he trekked to Korosuna. Him and his acquiantence, Mitena. Were to meet at the central park. He promptly upon arrival, went to the central park. He arrived at the park and started scanning the area for Mitena.

Lumen felt the tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Mitena. He was surprised, he had not heard her coming. Most of the time it was the other way around. He smiled and bowed in greeting to her.

"Greetings Mitena, thank you for meeting with me."

Lumen lowered his head in understanding.

"I understand wholeheartedly, For one of the subjects we shall be chatting about today, is of a unpleasant period of my life..."

Bowing in agreement gestured with his hands toward a bench.

"Ah yes, we should have a seat. Come this way."

Lumen led the way to the bench.
He sat down after Mitena chose a spot to sit.

"Here we go. This much better than standing"

Lumem: "Well, I was perusing the Shisai Archives in the Servants Guild campus. And I happened upon the personal notes of a afluent elven wizard. And in the notes, I there was a exerpt on the subject of a quote: ' 'A dark, silent singularity. Ebbing with arcane energy. All within the eye. To harness this would make one a god amongst ants.' '

"I found this extremely intriguing. And wanted to ask how you happened upon the texts to create one."

Lumen nodded, intrigued by the subject.

"I can see why you are frightened of its power. To think that it makes dark magic, a version of standard arcane magic that is normally very strenuous on the user, seem effortless. If I may inquire. I remember the time on the boat to Erul, that your Void Eye started reacting to your emotions. Is it possible it weakens or grows in power during these moments of emotion?..."

Lumen: "Hmmmmm....It is possible that its integrated itself into your bodies nervous system. It reacts to pain and emotion, so it is very possible. You are as much it, as it is you...A symbiotic relationship.....Which is a frightening thought to say the least."

Lumen: "So with this eye....Do you see small....etheral creatures? Or maybe a glowing lake?....What can this eye see?..."

Lumen nodded slowly.

"A depth Whisperer you say? Now that is an interesting coincidence...I was just reading about those....Quite a frightening aperition.....It is proned to doing some rather horrific things to those it is commanded to stalk...I should consult a Shaman or Oracle to get some Amatasu seals."

Lumen's pink eyes would glow ever so slightly in reaction to a fairy being in close proximity.

Lumen: "Th-that is astounding.....Er..F-forgive my eyes. Me be prariat elf, I am partially related to the Fae. Which when I am close to my kind, my eyes react...."

Lumen's eyes slowly dimmed away.

"Ah, well you see. The afluent elven mage had studied the Void eye for quite some time. Toward his latter years he became obsessed with it. But he explains that with it, one can command percievably invisible forces. Create life from these forces...And all in all....Consume the living with it. It hungers like you and I, or anyone else. It thinks like we do."

Lumen: "Well, I have two questions....You have the right not to answer them, so please do not feel obligated to do so..."

Lumen adjusted on the bench.

"If you you had the chance to seperate yourself from the entity, would you?...."

"And last....from what I have read, it sometimes drips or oozes....There in lies my second question. May I collect a sample of that?"

Lumen bowed his head.

"I see...And with the fact that it has bonded with your body, it is not far from logic to presume it could be passed to your offspring when you have them..."

"Worry not, I would never seek to use the sample for wrongdoing. In fact, I believe that with a sample, I might be able to prove my hypothosis."

Lumen bowed in appreciation.

"Thank you Mitena, I am very greatful. Imshant ask of you to make a sample here, for it may be a bit awkward. You may procure it for me later....I believe there may be a way of seperating spawn from host...And having a sample will help me safely test my theory."

"Ah yes, the Cor et Anima. You see, when I had spoke of the ceremony during the voyage to Erul. You said that it sounded familiar. This not only fed my curiosity, but also frightened me....The Ceremony is violent and not at all moral. I would hate to think you partook in such an event."

Lumen's face looked grim. He could still recollect the awful incidents.

"And for good reason. The Ceremony consists of 3 trials.
The first trial revolves around dealing with the suffocating feeling of isolation. You are put inside a room of prisms, where you are bombarded with the memories of your past. Those who are not mentally capable to cope with the aperitions and strike at them, end up striking the prism mirrors. Which will shatter and cut the agressor. No aid comes to those who are injured. And this is how the ceremonies elimination begins..."

Lumen's expression was that of pain and of worry. He was now absolutely positive that she had endured the awful event.

"That means....You had to experience the same horrors as I..."

Lumen hesitated before continuing.

"In the ceremony...there can only be one survivor....So that means you whethered all 3 trials....Allow me to explain the second trial...."

When is another Destria Roleplay?

So that means I can't use my entity?

I was thinking it would be a global event that affects specific islands when the foremind decides to attack a specific area. And I'm thinking more of the backstory along the lines of interplanetary teleportation when the entity accidently sent one of its copies into the...Horizon. And from the sky a dragonoid entity known as an oculite.(The fore mind is the only one with eyes. And tells the other split varients what to do. Basically a control center.) Interested? Or nay? I could drop out if you want?

Lumen's voice showed all to well that he was still damaged from the ceremony.

"The second trial, is the trial of Isolation. You are put in a compact sitting-room only box. You are provided a Knife upon entering the box. After you enter the box, you are sealed in, for which you must wait for 3 days. Normally, this sounds simple but, those on the outside running the Cor et Anima, use magic to make you lose track of time. So thirty minutes seems like 5 hours. The tempeture of the box is warm. Warmer than what is normally considered comfortable. Eventually, those inside their solitary boxes either turn the knife on themselves, or on the box. To strike the box is futile. Those who strike at themselves are left to die. After 3 days have passed in real time. The boxes are unsealed. Only those who did not kill themselves move on to the final trial."

Lumen, still looking grief stricken, continued.

"The final trial for the Cor et Anima ceremony is the Desolation.

It is where the survivors of the previous two trials face off in combat. All contestants stand upon spires that are suspended over a circular battlefield, which is constructed while the previous trials are underway. Once all contestants are in place, the match begins, a fight to the death.....Only one person can survive...You are permitted to bring any weapon you want....That includes magic...regrettably Often, you are to face friends or relatives in this trial. That is, if their families entered them. It is to see if you are willing to triumph over even those you know to become the victor. The Desolation of your soul and heart..."

Lumen understood the anxiety she was feeling. He too had suffered the same atrocities that Mitena had.

"There can only be one survivor....That means...the Cor et Anima you attended.....You won....I am so sorry....."

I have. He said I can try it. But I don't know. Maybe I'll try finding a different group? I mean the creature is supposed to be a threat to a world. But I really wanna keep the character. And I don't feel like ruining the story...Because I find that it may not fit your roleplay leader's universe. I may remove the DestriaRP tag. But until then. Thank you for replying.

Lumen nodded slowly. He felt bad for distressing Mitena.

"There is not much too say.....All that remains are the damaged survivors...."

I mean I know you don't want me to drop out. But I feel it doesn't fit your rule system.

Lumen's face looked dour. He himself remembered the faces and experience as if it was yesterday.

Lumen lowered his head. His shoulders sagged.

"I agree it is unfair....And those who subjected us to the ceremony are too blame for ours and the perished suffering. We must honor those fallen...by living.....an honorable life...and doing what is right....."

Lumen pulled a handkerchief from a pocket in his robe and held it out to Mitena.

"I am sure that they forgive you....For you are showing compassion.....you grieve the deaths of those you can not remember...it is very noble..."

Lumen shed a gentle smiled.

"It is no problem at all....I feel responsible for causing grief...."

A gust of wind blew by, sending leaves adrift and sand about.

"It is a shame that they treated you poorly....Perhaps if they had took the time to speak with you, maybe they would know what a personable individual you are.....Well actually,Terra noticed....I believe he saw this in you.....He has a sharp set of eyes...."

Lumen adjusted in his seat before speaking.

"Sometimes, people fear what they can not understand....Which it is normal to be afraid, but to act cruel to those who have not wronged you in anyway is an entirely different matter..."

Lumen put his hand to his chin in thought.

"It is possible....That the void eye took over during the moment of extreme emotion...the fact that you were almost burned alive made it fear for its own well being....Since I hypothosise that the Void eye perishes with the host...."

Lumen nodded in understanding.

"Indeed. Your Void Eye knew that it had to get you far away from danger, so it took over and guided you away. But now lies a new question. If it took over you once, will it try it again?......"

Lumen thought hard about the information and came to a conclusion.

"It has some control over you....It is thesable to presume you may have the ability to seize control of it....You are both one now."

Lumen thought for a second before replying.

"Well, it is hard to say...From what you have told me, it has not made you do anything violent or cruel to anyone. It Just caused you pain when it first arrived. So it is possible that it is benevolent. But there is also the possibility that it has not grown strong enough to force you to do anything you normally refuse to do....It is hard to predict the unkown enigma that is your Void eye."

Lumen looked at the two newly created birds.

"The power to create life.....It is truely remarkable..I am glad you are a responsible person..Since this gift could be horrific if in the hsnds of a unlawful individual...

Lumen looked again at the two birds.
..Have you tried creating a large quantity of an animal?....Or a larger animal?...."

Lumen nodded.

"I see.....I wonder what you could be capable of...If you were taught certain breathing and perception techniques...."
