He appeared. "Haha. There ya go. Let me get more into size." He grew in size, more shadows surrounding him. The literal shadows from the island all formed around him. His white eyes gleaming with firey hate at the large beast. "You cant win this." He spread his wings. His shadowy essence corrupted the trees and creatures around him. He was a small bit smaller because he liked challenges. Light seemed to not reflect off him as if if it did it would harm him. He screeched, shaking the whole forest with his blood curdling sound. His pupils gone, his shadowy body in firey rage like his eyes.

"You keep sssaying that, pathetic beasssst," the heads of the hydra snarled in agitation. Two of the heads snaked forward and opened their jaws, red flaps raising up on either side of their heads as they each shot jets of sizzling acid toward BlackShadow.

BlackShadow hissed as the acid hit his shadowy scales, it burned through some of the skin but didn't hurt much. "Barely stung." He hissed. He spun around and smacked his wings into her. He roared once again. Day perked her "ears" up when she heard the sound again. "BlackShadow... Night, stay here." She set Night down and flew up into the air. She spotted the battling beasts and roared herself.

Siren's heads hissed with the impact of the Shadowfury's wing against her side, but without any legs to have to balance on, she quickly regained herself. The hydra prepared herself to attack again, but she paused when she detected the shriek of a dragon not far away. A few of her heads swiveled to eye the newcomer. //A Sunfury... I wonder if she is "that" Sunfury...//

The six-limbed canine stumbled in his stride, still wounded from the fight before. The green feathers sticking from his mane shook along with his ragged breath as he and his guide approached the large village of Raines. Raven was walking alongside him; she was a canine as well, with long ears, antlers, three tails, and a mane on her chest and back. She ushered the tiger-looking beast quickly to the outskirts of town and to the inn. A dark gray wolf sat at the desk just inside the building, fur fluffed up at the cold wind as it blew through the doorway. A fireplace crackled softly near them, a soft yet old rug sitting infront of it. A long hallway stretched out from the room, doors to the cozy rooms lining the wall. The innkeeper's green eyes brightened as she perked her ears forward. A necklace hung around her neck, a swirling green pendant stood in the center with two dull blue feathers on either side. Black, tabby-like stripes ran down her back, shining in the light as she barked happily at them:
"Hiya! Do ya both need a room? I'm afraid we're runnin' out, but I could see if there's a space!" The wolf's high-pitched voice rang like a song.
Raven shook her head, mane following the motion. Her companion turned his head to the warmth of the fire, not used to the cold town of Raines. "No, just him," she replied, tossing her head in his direction.

The wolf nodded and turned, eyes flashing with the dancing light of the flames. "Alrighty! Follow me, sir," she said, wagging her tail as she led the tired canine to a room at the far end of the hall. She opened the door with a flick of the paw, showing him the small details of the room before stepping back out, softly closing it behind her. Raven had considered leaving when the innkeeper wasn't looking, but she didn't want to become more a rouge than she already was. The three-tailed canine was surprised how the keeper had not kicked her out. Raven sighed softly, knowing she had nothing to pay with. The only thing was a feather from her companion, tied carefully to one of her deer-like horns. 'It's a battle trophy,' she had told him. She straightened herself when the wolf returned.
"He's all set!" She said in her cheerful tone before looking at Raven's guilty expression. "Yknow.. We actually received a small donation earlier, just enough for your friend to stay for free." Raven's teal eyes brightened slightly, and the wolf continued. "Were you gotta go, anyways? You seem like ya should be resting a bit." The wolf turned her head, curious.
"Ah, nowhere of importance," Raven bluffed, knowing it was imperative no one could follow her. A dangerous trek that must me made alone awaited her.
"Oh, well alright. See you around," the wolf called after her as the canine extited the warm building, back into the wind.

Outside, there were few townsfolk left on the streets. The weather had changed drastically, though that wasn't uncommon in Raines. The marketplace-like village was tucked in the curve made between two mountains, and the cold winds liked to blown down on them. She took the harder to see paths, trying to avoid any and all attention that could be brought to her. The shutters on the old homes were closed tight against the changing winds. The creature's gray pelt blended in with the desolate gray around her, her bright blue manes and the dusty green feather giving her away. The feather danced in the wind, and Raven shook her head in a certain way to wind the string tighter around her horns. She trotted out of the village, looking at the massive mountain peak ahead of her. It appeared much smaller than it truly was, for there was a long trek to go before getting to the cursed path that led its precarious way to the peak. The trees thickened, blocking the harsh winds slightly; but the prescence of winter was still there. The branches creaked and swayed, groaning softly. The land dipped down slightly, and the trees gave way to an empty landscape dotted with small patches of dead brush. The canine focused feline-like teal eyes on what she knew as a hidden cave, shocked that she had not been paying attention to how far she was traveling. She had passed the cave before and wondered if it was still empty. It was actually a well-hidden spot, tucked away in a small hill surrounded by trees. The nearby brambles looked as if a careless animal had already tramped through this area as Raven closed in on the cave, almost sprinting to get back in the cover of the trees. Even with her weak nose she scented wolves, two to be exact, and cautiously she peeked around the corner with a dark gray muzzle.

The cave was really just a few walls of smooth rock that would reflect any light in a very calming matter that was not obvious to the outside. A small, natural shelf in the wall held a scrap of food, and dry vines lay underneath the shelf. There were no wolves physically present, just their scent. Male and female, and now as she sniffed closer she smelled deer and... Horse? Raven shook her head, making the feather swirl confusingly in the air with the sudden movement. The two animals had not been killed and eaten, though. Strange. As she looked around more she noticed a trail of messy paw prints that led, sadly, where she was going. She sighed, continuing her trek onward. The scent of the wolves became stronger, and soon she could hear the laughing voice of the female wolf. Raven stayed far enough to not be noticed by them, slinking through the brush so that she could barely even hear their voices. Occasionally the female would be interrupted by the low barks of the male wolf. Best leave them alone for now. Through the bushes she could just barely see the female's face, a dark blue wolf with a teal muzzle. Her silvery eyes shone brightly. Huffing, the horned animal kept moving. Thankfully, the wolves were chattering too loudly to hear her.

After a long while through the deep snow, Raven began to tire. Her paws began to sink into the cold snow and her teal eyes teared up with exhaustion. Night was spreading its ghostly fingers quickly across the barren land, letting the cold wind blow harder. There was no shelter nearby; the trees far behind her. The feather whipped at her face and the blue mane on her back and stomach tickled her neck and legs. Snow swirled in her face until she grew nauseous, white flakes blocking her vision. She kept stumbling, veering off-track until she rammed into a tree, painfully crashing against the bark and into the deep white cold, mind growing black.

(Remember, this is the rewrite. I think the original is much shorter, and while I got rid of some things, I mainly just added to it :3)

BlackShadow looked with furious and slightly fearful eyes at Day. "You!!!" He yelled. The shadowfury looked back to Siren and breathed in deeply, prepared to overwhelm her with corrupted flames. Day scowled, her pupils disappeared and she shifted to her rage form in one bright flash. Her spiky tail replaced with an actual small sun. She charged at him, her golden vined wings flailing behind her. Glowing gold pretty much flooded from her mouth. She screeched as she got closer, trying to prevent that hydra from becoming a corrupted nightmare. She clashed her sun into BlackShadow's chest, sending him flying, the extra shadows faded from the light and he screeched in agonising pain. He hit some trees, knocking them over as he shrunk to normal size.

Siren watched the sudden change in events in surprise and wariness, some of her heads hissing and recoiling from the bright light and impacts. //This has to be her - no other Sunfury fights so well.// "Queen Day," the heads addressed her simultaneously, "You dare interrupt my fight?"

(Ahh wait Alk! You want Rip and Coldy to hit it off? eue)

(Only if you want them to, Rip is really up for fighting tho)

She turned her head. "If you knew what he was about to do, you'd thank me." She said a little annoyed. BlackShadow got up and roared. The shadows forming around him again, "Agh! I hate you Day!!!!" He roared and surrounded her with clones. She screeched and spun around, smacking them all with her sun, BlackShadow screeched as if connected to him clones.

Sometime after Giranja had left, dawn broke through the night atmosphere, shedding light over the camp. Sensing sunlight on his scales, Coldfire moaned and stretched before opening sleepy eyes and scanning the clearing. His gaze soon moved down to his gray shirt, stain-free and folded neatly, beside him. He squinted at it, then noticed the letter resting on top of it. Growing concerned, the dragon shifted and pulled on the clean shirt before opening the letter. //Giranja...// Dropping the letter, Coldfire walked to the middle of the clearing and scanned the forest around the in a growing panic. //Where did she go?... I have to find her!//

Siren observed the duel with all fourteen eyes narrowed intently. //His weakness is light.// Seeing that her opponent was now distracted, she began to ponder if she could possibly slip away unnoticed.

BlackShadow scowled at Day then turned to siren with hatred. He screeched and flew upward, spiraling. The shadows forming a tornado.

//Choose an opponent already,// Siren huffed inwardly as her many eyes followed the Shadowfury. One head chose to watch Day, however. //Well, this serves as an advantage for us. My attacks do not leave as much damage as do hers. Thus, I will serve as a distraction and Queen Day will attack him while he is occupied.// Lowering her upper body to the ground, the hydra slithered into the forest, her massive body flattening all trees in her path. Her heads hissed and spat up at BlackShadow tauntingly.

As the sun rose, it shown brightly on the huts. No sooner was Riptide up, he stretched and yawned a bit feeling sore from the battle they had a few days ago. He went over to the river and quickly took off his mask to wash his face. Watching his reflection it, //I look like a ghoul// he thought. He put his mask back on and stared at the water again. // better// and he walked into camp to check and see if Raven and Rohn were awake.

Catching movement from the corner of his eye, Coldfire whipped around only to see Riptide returning from the forest. Huffing and giving a contemptible look, the shifter turned away, pretending as though he hadn't seen him.

Rohn had been awake since Coldfire had awoken, though he had chosen to lay there. The brighter golden eye watched Riptide as he approached, and he raised his head slightly, yawning. The dragon's long golden tounge curled slightly when he did, similar to that of a cat. Breaking his gaze from the warrior he looked down at Raven, who had clamped a paw down on the fluffy tail in her sleep. Smiling, he slowly lifted his tail, shifting the Zeraxi's position. Annoyed, she blinked open her teal eyes, giving everything around her a blank, lazy stare.

Riptide look over army Coldfire but quickly glanced away. He walked up to Rohn. "Hey you guys awake yet" he said smiling his sea green eyes twinkled as rays of sunlight bounced off them.

BlackFire screeched loudly in rage and charged out of his tornado at Siren. Day hissed and noticed what Siren was doing. She impaled the shadowy beast with her sun, the sharp blow made a bright blinding flash. BlackShadow shrunk again and grew tall after. He turned to her and roared, his roar echoed through the trees and mountains causing panick all over the island.

(Eww wait that is technically a ship name)

A few of Siren's heads grinned in satisfaction when BlackShadow fell for the trap and Day managed to get a blow on him. //He's not as bright as he seemed.// She briefly wondered how Alidade and her crew were doing. //Here we go again - it'll take my men weeks to be able to look me in the eye without becoming petrified again. They don't like what I really am.//

BlackShadow roared again and flew up, this time not coming back down. He escaped threw a portal leave his extra shadows behind, fluttering in the air. "I will return!" He screeched before disappearing in his portal. Day shook her head. "Sad isn't he?" She said turning to Siren, she turned back to normal in a more dim flash. "He doesn't use his powers well. Even though he's older than even you, he acts like a child in battle. Just a big chicken." She said then turned her head. "By the way, I don't think we've met. How do you know about me when I never see you on the island?" She questioned.

Siren's serpentine heads watched as the Shadowfury retreated, then swiveled to meet Day's gaze. This time, only one head spoke, the hissing of her 's's more controlled. "I find it helpful to learn what important figures live in this archipelago, especially as a former asssssassin and current servant," she replied, careful to leave out names.

Coldfire paced in the clearing for sometime, hoping that Giranja would miraculously reappear, but after a while his attention moved back to Riptide. The Zanerek had been sitting nearby for quite some time now, and repetitively noticing him began to drive the dragon shifter mad. He approached Riptide, his arms crossed. "I hate to sound rude," he lied, "But why are you still here?"

"A rock? You seek a rock?" A small squeaky voice echoed from behind her. The same firefly was floating there, her blue glowing "tail" shining brightly as she beet her wings.

"Not to be rude but... You seem pretty big for an 'Assasin' and servant. Especially a servant." She said scowling a bit. //Who the heck is she?!...//

(Coldy: Now I don't wanna make it seem like I hate you, but I hate you.)

(Lol @Wulfeh, also did you reply for the "Whaling" gang?)

"Because Arrow is making me stay." He mumbled feeling rather annoyed that he was disturb. "Did Giranja not tell you that she and Arrow agreed to travel together?"

The small insect head nodded. "Yes. What you seek is my home." She moved back and forth a little as she beat her wings quickly. "Follow me to the ancient stone and I shall explain it's meaning."

Siren eyed the Sunfury for a moment, thinking her answer over carefully to not reveal too much about herself or her affiliations with BloodBack, as Day probably did not have good relations with him, being a dragoness. "I resssort to this form only when highly necessary," the center head finally explained. "In exchange for a civilized life, I pose as a human ssservant."

Coldfire scowled. //Why on earth did she agree to that??// "No, she didn't. Why didn't you do anything about it?" he asked Riptide impatiently.

(Coldfire's not a morning person, fyi.)

"Humans... Only humans I know are dragon hunters. Unless... I'm wrong? So you work for BloodBack." She was educated well by an ancient dragon about everything with Sylyore, from when the island first formed to now. She knew Siren was hiding something.

(Agh, I hate to say it, but I just realized the time and I need to head to bed soon. I can get Coldfire out of the interaction if you don't want Rip to be stuck, Alk. :0)

"Look I am in no control in over what Arrow does ok? And I did! I told them that I didn't want to travel with you!" He huffed he mimic Arrow's tone rather annoyingly. "Oh Rip you'll get along just fine with mister ice dragon! Don't be like that!" He retorted, "And this is exactly what I don't want, having a conversation with you." Rip pulled up the grass and plopped on the ground now grumbling to himself.

"You are sharp," Siren conceded, choosing to not lie to the Sunfury in case she got on her bad side. "Do you see me as an enemy now?" Her query held no hostility in it, but rather curiosity.

"Nah I even respect BloodBack a tiny bit for at least not capturing Lakarix, BirdWolf or Dolonias. What's your name anyways?" She said turning her head again.

Coldfire wrinkled his nose as his violet eyes stared daggers at Riptide. "Couldn't even talk sense into your own guardian angel, huh? No wonder you can't keep a conversation with anybody."

The hydra considered giving a false name or even refraining altogether, but she finally replied, "Ssssiren." A few of her heads swiveled about as she watched the horizon for her ship. "Do you happen to know about a dog-like species with draconic featuresss, wingss, and the belly and tail of a whale?" she asked rather randomly.

"Hah, you think that I own him? Like it's my fault that we're stuck together?" Riptide snarled, he kept his gaze on Coldfire. "You don't even have a clue on what he does! You think that because you're younger and stronger that makes you better than everyone else here. Maybe it's because you're a control freak. You want you're way all the time." He shouted pointing finger at his chest. "Well guess what! It's not always about you!" He got up and stormed over to Rohn's direction. "I don't even know why I'm talking to an arrogant idiot like you!"

"Yeah... Very good. Didn't fully understand Ari being Alpha but very good." She looked down in slight sorrow until they reached the room. She sat near Ari and gestured Ocean to go to the other side of their alpha.

Day nodds. "Yup. You mean a whale? That's what they are called. Real whales are an extinct species ironically hunted by new whales." She explained.

Coldfire ground his teeth as Riptide stalked away, agitation boiling in him. The shifter turned away for a moment, ready to stomp off as well, but a feral instinct inside him snapped into action and he spun around again. Shifting into his dragon form, Coldfire placed a heavy paw on Riptide, pinning his side to the ground. "Watch your words, worthless rat," he seethed in the Zanerek's face. "You don't know how old I am, much less who I am. It's about time I took my crown back."

(With that one word, Riptide can blackmail Coldfire to his heart's content. X'D)

The small bug leads Giranja to a small stone on the ground with carvings on it. "Here is what you seek." It said.

"A Whale," Siren repeated, experimenting with the word. "Then, are they found in the sea?" she pressed. "If so, in which sea here do they reside?"

(Fight, fight, fight, fight!)

"North from the DragonHunter island." She peered over there, still flying. "Infact. I see ol' bloody himslef over there. Along with two Lakarix and his daughter." She said in slight confusion.

The bug turned her head and landed on the rock. "There is more to it." She said, "come back at night and you will find more than you truly seek and what you seek. But if you return early before nightfall, you will meet a terrible fate." She explained in seriousness.

Riptide took his sword and stabbed his foot, quickly taking a large amount of green dust he threw it on the ground. A large dust cloud surrounded them. "What are you going to do? Punch me? Shred me to pieces? Eat me?" He laughed his voiced echoed making somewhat of an eerie sound. "And when you do kill me, oh what will your sweet Giranja think? What will Arrow think? Oh don't bother to lie to him, he can read minds. And even if they don't believe that you killed me, just look at the witness here. Oh they are watching the horror right now." He taunted he wasn't afraid to die, nor was he afraid to stick up for himself as well.

(Spec: Almost! His sister is closer to that age. Coldfire is 83 in dragon years.)

(Takes out salt and eats it)

Ari finally spoke once all the Lakarix arrived. "Now is everyone? Betas?" He turned to his side to see Magnis then the other to see Oceanicor. Mag is nodded. "All good sir."

Coldfire hissed when Riptide pinned his other paw to the ground with a knife, but he couldn't recoil because it was stuck. He also refused to let his rival up. The dragon's eyes flickered at the green mist around them, then returned them to Riptide. "I won't do any of that to you." A haughty look appears in his eyes. "That would be animal abuse, after all."

(Guys the lights just flashed in my room)

//Just north. They're closer than I thought.// Her train of thought was broken by Day's new remark. Hissing in confusion, Siren's heads craned as high as possible, tongues flicking as she attempted to spot BloodBack. "Where are they?"

Ari asked all the groups and ranks. "Alright, good. Now this morning I am sure you heard that odd howling? Well one was a lone Lakarix and bird wolf but the first one... Was confirmed as Larinae's signature howl." He paused, the pack and Magnis gasped. "I checked his grave... He isn't there..."

Ah yes queen Elanciera was her name? You are like her but far more stupid." He spat "Go ahead kill me, if that's what you really want. You are just like a two year old lashing out whenever someone hurts your little feelings."

Coldfire's eyes widened, and then his pupils narrowed to dangerous slits, his mannerisms becoming more animalistic than intelligent. "You //dare// compare me to that //abomination//?" he snarled, digging his talons deeper into Riptide's fur. He bared his glistening teeth inches away from the Zanerek's face. "I'm not like her. I'm better than her - fiercer, deadlier!" he hissed. "And I can tear out your throat, just like I did with hers."

(Coldfire's totally losing his cool)

"Yesss, I see it now," Siren replied, her golden eyes fixing on a distant airship, although her hydra vision was not nearly as impressive as Day's. "What are they doing?"

"Hopefully," the Lakarix replied, looking back at Larinae. His eyes glimmered in concern, and he had to focus on Raylin as the sight of the water made him nervous. //I hope we never. Ever. Go back to the edge of this island.//

Raylin looked over the edge of the boat, "Umm.... There's one. It's coming. Closer..." She nervously backed up, BloodBack went to look but before he could the boat was thrashed into the air, a large spike penetrated the bottom. A whale had emerged, it made a loud horrifying screech.

(Yes.) As the boat was lifted, Lari ae was shot i to the clouds which were rolling over them. Thunder and lightning crackled in the sky and rain started pouring on them.

The Firefly flew up in joy as she spotted Gira. "Welcome back!" The stone's inscriptions were glowing blue and the grass undernewth is started to die and turn to dust, revealing a full rocky floor.

(Hey, so I got home earlier than expected! Of course, dinner will be ready in a little bit so the meeting time won't change. 'XD)

Areli howled in panic, eyes widening and reflecting the waters in horror. He watched, frozen, as his fellow Lakarix was cast off into the sky. His ears were back as he searched for Raylin and BloodBack, not wanting to drown in the ocean he had fought so hard to stay away from.

(gtg to dinner, will be slow. Sorrrryyyyy)

Raylin ran up and gently held Areli closely. "It's okay." She said in a soft voice. Larinae went flying strait into a tree LITERALLY just above Magnis and Ocean. Magnis jumoted and a golden feather floated down adn landed on her nose. "L-... L-larinae?!" She stood, staring in shock.

The tiger-like canine leaned into Raylin, remembering their near death only earlier that day. He continued to watch in a horroed shock as Larinae flew away from them, the storm goving the sick Lakarix wings of rain along with his feathered arms.

(Haha youre ok day. Before i left to ear i was here, in sageclan, and drawing. And i only have one functioning ds lol
Now im just waiting for food and sitting here :P)

(Spec, Larinae is in a tree x'D) the stone moved and cracks formed near it. Soon enough the stone and unstable rock crumbled to dust. Only thing left was the stairs it revealed. "Enter the tomb of the Toruki." She said, flying down, waiting at the bottom of the staircase.

The tree cracked and the branch supporting him fell, Larinae yelped as he hit the ground. "It is you!!! Oh my gosh Larin-" she noticed he was in pain and stopped blabbering, she howled for Ari and medical assistance. Larinae whimpered in pain. Ari arrived with two medical Lakarix. "Wh-... Is that?!" Ari stuttered in complete confusion.

The whale screeched more, now thrashing her head around. The boat creaked and cracked as she attempted to get the vessel off of her spike. "Daddy what do we do?!" Bloodback looked to Raylin. "I don't know!!!"

"Well we have to do something!!" Areli roared, struggling to keep balance. Ocean water sprayed in his eyes, blinding him. Soon, the Lakarix was practically immobile with shock.

The medical Lakarix walked up and cleaned his wounds, they then covered them up with makeshift bandages. "We'll take good care of you Larinae." One said. "Y-you recognise me?..." Larinae weakly said. "How could we forget your sweet face?" Magnis said to her son.

(In case Alk wonders where I am when she arrives, I'm gonna be about 15-20 minutes later than the meeting time!)

Bloodback grabbed his sword and stabbed the spike shaped mussel. The Whale shrieked in pain and dove down, the boat came off just before hitting the water, in a big splash, the boat collapsed to peices. Rayoin and BloodBack shifted to their other forms and flew down to grab Areli, the male grey wolf held him tightly, they were all very wet. "That was close..." He said.

I won't be home before then so I'll be slow still for a while.)

Tired, Areli muttered to himself; just growls of incoherent words. He flicked his ears to Crow as if to acknowledge his help, but his eyes were fixated on the water below and the salty drops dripping down from his pelt. The green feathers on his mane were pressed against his neck. After a while of growling he looked up at them, trying to smile. "So much for that whale."

Crow and Raylin flew back to the island, forgeting he wasn't known in his wolf form he freaked out and flew high up in fear as his own men shot arrows at him. "Oh dear..." He muttered.

Coldfire's blood boiled as Riptide spoke. He didn't hear the sense in the Zanerek's words; all he heard was taunting and mockery. Snarling with blazing eyes, the ice dragon bit onto the knife pinning his hand to the ground and tore it out, flinging the weapon away. Raising his now-free hand, Coldfire glared down at Rip hatefully, ready to tear his talons through him. His muscles tensed, but then he paused, eyes widening in horror. //What am I doing?....// Dizzy-like, the white dragon stumbled backwards off of Riptide and stared numbly at his bloodied talons. //H-He's right.... I'm becoming just like her.... I'm a murderer, a sadist, I-I....//

Areli looked down at the men, tensing as another arrow whizzed past him. Its whistling had died away by the time he realized what was going on, and he barked up to Crow, slightly annoyed. "Well what now?" He huffed softly to himself, eyes returning to the sickening sea.

Riptide only stared into the dragons savage eyes. At that momment it seemed as tho Coldfire was arguing with his thoughts.

(Bleh do you want me to have them continue fighting? I mean they're both probably going to get a time out from Arrow after Rohn tells him what happened ewe. )

(So that wulfeh can do what she was planning, I say they start fighting again so Rohn can interrupt)

Crow flew to the side to dodge the arrows. "They wont let me go far... I might have to..." He gulped. "Reveal the truth..."

Areli shook his head. "I could try to convince them to let us go, if you prefer that." His gaze returned to the two canines. "After all, I have no identity while you have two." His voice grew distant, as if he was repeating words he had already spoken. Eyes unmoving he moved one leg to dodge another arrow, though it skimmed his hip. The Lakarix's ears didn't even lay back as blood trickled down his leg.

Coldfire's heart pulsed harder every second that he stared at the blood on his claws. //No... No, I'm not a murderer, I don't want more blood.... But the anger....// He squeezed his eyes shut with a moan, trying to fight his dragon instincts to kill, but when he opened his eyes again, his pupils were slitted, all personality in them gone. The ice dragon turned his head toward Riptide again, a viscous growl rising up in his throat. "I'll kill you," he hissed.

Getting up he walked over to retrieve his blade. His old wounds were now open again, but he tried to ignore them. Picking up his blade and staring at his masked self he put the sword back in it's sheath. But he quickly drew it again when he heard Coldfire roar. "You just don't know when to quite." This time he didn't give the Dragon the luxury of pinning him. He dashed as fast as he could around the back of the beast and slashed his side.

Coldfire shrieked and reared back when Riptide cut his side, the wound Elanceria had given him opened once again. Whipping around, he inhaled and shot a blast of ice in his opponent's direction, although his vision was distorted from the angry fumes in his head.

Though the ice blast shot was off, it got Riptide's tail. He yelped and fell to the ground for a brief momment. Quickly getting up he jump on Coldfire's back, running up he readied some more dust. //Sheesh, I know this guy hates me but I didn't know he hated me this much.//

Rearing up and roaring, the Tundra dragon twisted his neck to fix his maddened, wild eyes on Riptide. He attempted to snap his jaws over Riptide's smaller body, but he missed because of his hastiness. //Stupid rat!! I'll kill him!//

Rohn had been trying to avoid the fight, but now had grown sick of it. He stood up, dumping Raven on the ground with a loud yelp. The spiked tail swing above her head and skeletal wings threatened to tear apart the clouds above. He swerved his long body inbetween the two, pupils gone and medallion encased in fire. His jaws were open, dull teeth glinting as he roared incomprehensible growls, letting sparks dance at his feet. His head came up close to Coldfire's as he hissed loudly, "Enough!!" One of his wings pushed Riptide back, trying to seperate the two clashing warriors and trying to snap the line of death that was being cast into their waters of hatred.

(Mmmm youtube my mix. Perfect song.)

(Maybe Rohn can appear after Rip does his thing? I'm curious to see what he's gonna do with that powder. XD)

"They do nothing but put you to sleep. Don't worry, it'll ware off soon." He assured Areli, dodging more Arrows. "I will try this, one moment." He flew in a bit closer. "If you wwnt your boss to be free from the clutches of a Whale then you better let us go! We can free him if you let us get help." The men weren't convinced, they continued .:"BloodBack is safe you ugly mutt! He has killed many Whales before!" Crow backed up, an arrow hit Raylina dn he dived to rescue her, he missed and she landed in the water, unconscious. "R-Falcon!" He stopped himself from saying Raylin. The men dragged her in with rope and put her in a cage. Crow tried to fly away, escape then return as his human form. He charged for the island. Right near Siren, the large hydra. He yelped as an arrow hit his side, followed by others. His paw missed the island and his grip released. He and Areli fell in the ocean. The men wrapped ropes around their torsos and pulled them in.

Falling back Riptide dug his claws into Coldfire, he tried climbing. His now open cuts seethed in pain, screaming at him to stop. He winced and put one hand over a wound.

Areli, mostly unconscious, fought desperately against the ropes. He howled as loudly as he could muster, water threatening to drown him as the men pulled him in. //This is why I avoided all men!!// he thought, his last thought before giving into the deep black that was flowing like water and blood into his mind.

( @Fade Rip only has three jars, one that turns him into a ghost another is mustard gas (tho he hasn't used that one, for many reasons) and one the acts kinda like a smoke bomb it diminishes away more quickly than one. So at the very least it'll will just distract Coldy a bit. I'm making him struggle tho so Rohn can really come in whenever you want.)

Surprised from Rohn's sudden appearance, Coldfire stumbled back, Riptide toppling off his back. He snarled defensively at the large, serpentine dragon before him, hardly able to recognize him through the fuzz in his mind.

"Man will BloodBack be proud!" One said, they reeled em in and put them into a cage. All of them in the same cage. They hauled it to the field of cages and walked off to take a break.

(Uh-oh, I see Siren is now included in an interaction. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention to much of it. Would you mind summarizing what's happened with the whaling expedition, @Day?)

(BloodBack, Areli and Raylin got thrashed into the air by a mother whale. Then Larinae got launched, and on return they got attacked. BloodBack was in his wolf form and so was Raylin. They got shot by arrows and are now in cages. Poor bloodback tho x'D Shot by his own men.)

"Enough," the Velz hissed again, a deep growl shaking through his entire body. Keahi leaped out of his medallion, growing slightly as they ran through the small wall of flames. Rohn swung one of his wings around, hitting Coldfire on the head. "There is no more need for fighting. If you choose to kill, I will kill you, and then your love will take my life for you." His eyes glowed, trails of gold mist as he moved his head swirling like snow. Raven tried standing, and the dragon ushered her back down with the soft tail.

Fighting his own mentality, the Lakarix struggled awake. His eyes were still glazed over, but even with his blurred vision he caught no sight of the men. "R-Raylin..." He whispered, trying to find where they were. "Cr...ow....." He tried shaking his head, but blacked out again.

With her blurry serpent vision, Siren struggled to understand the situation unfolding on the decks of BloodBack's ship. Her hydra heads frowned when a dark winged wolf came flying in her direction, but then it faltered in dropped into the ocean. Because she was so large in her true form, only half of her body became submerged in water when she slithered in to rescue the newcomer. Scooping up Crow in one of her head's jaws, she set him down on dry sand. "What issss wrong?" she hissed, several of her heads eying the wolf. //I've seen feathers like those.... BloodBack?// She then noticed the arrow in the wolf's fur. //Dragonroot arrows...//

The wolf twitched conscious for a moment, "Huh?! Ah RAYLIN?! AREL..." but the arrows kicked in again.

The whack of Rohn's wing against Coldfire's head helped to shake the murderous intent in him, but he still growled at the Velz. "Get out of my way," he snapped threateningly, although the fire in him was already beginning to fade, causing him to partially forget why he was fighting in the first place. He shook his head out, clearing the confusion away.

Riptide was surprised by the sudden pull on his back. He realized it was Rohn trying to break up the fight. He didn't rebel against but stayed behind Rohn and scowled at Coldfire.

Noticing Riptdie behind him he curled him around the fluffy tail, trying hard to focus some of his energy to heal the warrior. Keahi growled; it sounded like the roar of a forest fire, but dulled in water. The fire-wolf stepped slightly closer to Coldfire, using its tail to send sparks around the ice dragon. Rohn felt increasingly weaker, medallion glowing softer and pupils showing more. He reminded himself who he was, trying to keep himself there. //I'm slipping back. Is someone dying? I can't leave. I can't.//

The white dragon hissed again, desiring to fight longer, but he recoiled from the sparks. For a moment, he glared back and forth between Rohn and Riptide, fighting with himself, then finally lowered his head and huffed. "Whatever," he mumbled, turning and skulked away with his tail dragging in the dust. It took all the self-control he had left to not return to the fight, instead gritting his teeth and pressing on.

"Raylin," one of Siren's heads repeated as she moved back a little bit. She gazed at the ship again with her yellow eyes, then some of her heads turned to Day. "May I trust you to watch over thisss wolf-bird?" the heads queried.

(Oops, I missed Spec's comment. Alright then, see you later!)

Rohn kept himself tensed, keeping watch on the dragon. He whispered inaudibly to Keahi, and the wolf sat down, the flames it was made of quivering in the breeze as if it were made of thousands of candles. The dragon sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I had to do this." He looked at Riptide and then Raven, eyes back to normal, though they had a slight tired glaze over them. His voice dropped to a whisper and he let his wings fall to the ground, not using one muscle in his back to keep them up. "I'm sorry," he said again, turning his head over to Coldfire, muzzle pointed to the ground.

(Naps are good, you should take one if you're feeling upset. I hope I didn't do anything to hurt you!)

Day nodded. "No problem for me. I will keep him safe till you return." She said in joy to care for the injured wolf.

Coldfire stalked through the forest until he was far away from the clearing. Finally letting his anger loose, he shrieked and tore his talons into an unfortunate tree, sending it crashing to the forest floor with the ferocity of his attack. He stood on shaking legs as he gasped for breath, which was becoming more difficult with blood welling up in his throat. //Curse that Zanerek... Curse them all!// Gagging, the ice dragon coughed up a mouthful of blood. //What has become of me?...//

"Thank you," Siren replied before slithering away from the shore and heading in the direction she had seen her ship go last. Once she caught sight of the dark shape floating not far off, she shifted into her human form and trekked until she was standing beneath it. She called up to her crew until they threw a rope ladder down, allowing her to board the ship. After setting her feet on the deck, she met the eyes of several petrified men, but there was no time to baby them into trusting her again. "We're going back to DragonHunter island. Now," she commanded. Nearly jumping away, her crew rushed to their stations and directed the ship in the direction Bloodback's ship had gone.

(Sorry if my replies are slow, I'm doing multiple things right now.)

Rohn winced when he heard the tree crash to the ground. "Keahi," he said to the wolf. His eyes flashed with a secret command, and it walked back to him, following him as he curled back up around Raven. The Zeraxi looked at him worriedly, ears back. Keahi sat down just outside of the hut, keeping its flaming tail from the wooden structure. It was a foot shorter than a normal wolf, and if one were not paying very close attention for a long time, they would have seen it was slowing shrinking in size, like a fire that has a limited supply of wood to burn. Rohn looked over at Riptide, eyes still glazed.

Alidade jumped up in joy after seeing Siren return he jumped into her arms. He whimpered a bit to indicate the crew hated him.

(You aren't alone on that Spec, I don't like it when the simplest things completely undo my mood. Get some rest! We'll still be here!)

Riptide kept his mouth shut, for he knew he wasn't completely innocent. He didn't want to admit it either, so he just watched as Coldfire stomped off. //Arrow isn't going to be happy with me.// He thought now grumbling.

Having nearly forgotten about her now companion, Siren's brows raised when Alidade pounced into her arms. "Sorry for leaving you all alone," she murmured, stroking the Whale's ears. Her golden eyes met the gazes a select few men, knowing her crew well enough to guess who were the leaders of the rudeness toward Alidade. Those she made eye contact with shrank back from guilt and fear, speeding up their tasks as if it would help them escape her wrath. "You don't have to worry anymore," she assured Alidade.

In hopes that escaping his dragon blood would cool his temper would cool, Coldfire shifted into his human form, but much of the anger still remained in his head, driving him to near insanity. He paced in the forest, violent images flashing through his head as he plotted revenge on Riptide, but he countered himself with each thought. //Stop it, stop it! You are not Elanceria - you don't kill and torture! Riptide's right; I'll become an animal if I keep up with this. I have to stop. What will Giranja think of me?// He stared down at his hands, guilty blood staining his fingers. Growling, Coldfire slammed a fist into a tree, but the movement sent pain jolting through his side wound. Crumpling to the ground, he put his elbows on his knees and buried his face in his hands. //How will she ever forgive me for this? How can Riptide, Rohn, and Arrow forgive me? I'm worse than Elanceria...//

Finally, Siren's ship arrived and docked at Dragon Hunter Isle. Moving Alidade to perch on her shoulder, the warrioress hopped off and briskly walked in the direction of the fortress, ready to meet Raylin's captors. //Little do they know that they betrayed their own leader....//

Crow woke up finally. He growled at Day and backed up. "Stay away!" Day looked at him with surprise. "Woah woah! Easy there. I mean you no harm. I am Day." She introduced herself.

(I need to put him in the most miserable state of mind so that when Giranja returns it's even more interesting. X'D)

The men were eating in the cafeteria hut. They munched on cooked Rii.

( @Day: That's fine - her goal is to rescue Raylin and Larinae and beat the men into pulp. XD)

Arrow had been out in the woods for awhile, taking his time to think. His thoughts vanished when he heard the sound of blades, claws and fire. Dashing back to the clearing he saw Riptide with new open cuts and Rohn beside him. "What happened here?" He asked sternly. "Where's Coldfire?"

Riptide turned his attention when Arrow came bursting into the clearing. //Oh crap No! Not now// his mouth was open trying to find a way to bring out words but he found none.

Once Siren entered the castle and came to the entrance of the eating hall, she set Alidade down. //Let's see how well he can obey orders. "Do you see those boxes, Alidade?" she asked, pointing to the cages on the other side of the room with Raylin and Larinae inside. She set a key down. "Do you think you can go and unlock them for me? Don't worry about the men - I will keep them distracted." She winked down at Alidade.

He turned his head, slightly understanding. He nodded and squeaked, realising what she wanted. The small whale picked up the key and ran off to the cage. He climbed the bars with his sticky frog-like feet and turned the key in the lock. The door swung open and the small dragon walked in and squeaked to get their attention. Raylin was out cold.

(Areli, Larinae was launched. @Fade)

Rohn closed his eyes, washed with guilt. "Coldfire and Riptide broke into a fight. I tried to stop them, but Coldfire ran off." He looked up at Arrow, his face shadowed by the memories of his interactions with the spirit. "My deepest apologies for not being able to do more. I tried healing Riptide, but I used all my power stopping Coldfire." The fluffy tail sat limp on the ground next to Riptide. Raven stared blankly at Arrow, still confused. Her teal eyes reflected the blue-white glow of Keahi, whose fiery ears were pricked in the Elvira's dorection.

( @Day: Oh okay, I wasn't familiar with who was and was not captured. To verify, is it Raylin, Larinae, and Areli? Or are you saying Larinae's not there?)

(*Sings rather annoyingly*

(Coldfire: *stares at Alk blankly* ... I'm going to pretend that never happened.)

Areli opened his eyes slightly, dazed. He shot awake when he saw the Whale, confused and scared. The Lakarix immediately regretted something he could not control, leg stinging when he jumped up. He collapsed back onto the floor of the cage, staring wide-eyed at Alidade. Whining slightly, he averted his gaze over to Raylin.

"No you did fine thank you for telling me, Riptide mind telling me what you did exactly?" He asked turning his attention to Riptide, he stared at him tapping his foot up and down. Feeling rather cross. "Well uh, you see" Riptide sweated nervously. "He started asking me-, I just want to hear what you did!" Arrow interrupted.
Riptide gulped "Well we were talking and as the our conversation got more heated, I said something to him before storming off and everything escalated from... there. During the fight I might of said some more things making him feel even more butt hurt." Riptide said turning away now feeling rather shameful of his actions.

(Larinae is at the GreenOak forest so nope.)

After Alidade ran off, pattering frog feet drowned out by the clamor of the men, Siren unsheathed her scythe and rested the staff part of it on her shoulder. She stepped out into the room where all the feasting soldiers could see her. "Hello, boys! You ready for some fun?" she announced, a smirk on her face. One golden eye flashed, challenging anyone to come near.

Raylin slowly got up. "Ugh..." She looked at Alidade and growled. "Stay away Whalel!" He squeaked again and then purred. He showed he meant no harm.

Rohn whispered to Keahi, letting the wolf vanish in a pool of white sparks. They made a small flame, which was dampened by a sharp hoof. Raven stared to where Coldfire had gone, wanting to know how he was. She tried standing, getting her three good legs almost straight before the dragon tried laying her back down.

They stopped, they all went silent. The men looked at her in confusion. "Wha?" One said.

"Whale?" Areli said, confused. "THAT'S what you call a whale?" He shook his head, wondering if he was still out cold. "So very, very different." He looked back at Raylin, glad she was okay.

(Cant do lakarix but can do gira.)

"Its a baby." She said annoyed. "Shew shew!"

Alidade turned his head. He dropped the key to show he saved them. Raylin's eyes widened. "It... Saved us?..."

Areli shook his head. "I drowned. I had to have. This seems all too surreal."

(All my charas have problems with thinking they survive stuff)

"No we're fine Areli. We are alive. Life is just never boring here."

Siren grinned eagerly, sinking into a battle stance. Without a reply, she suddenly darted forward and whipped a leg around, knocking a couple men backwards. Before anyone could react, she spun her scythe around and struck the underside of the long dining table, flipping it upside down and sending food flying. In a moment, the dining hall had fallen into chaos.

The Whale squeaked for them to run out, he ran out towards Siren's boat for them to board soon. Raylin followed. "We should follow it."

"Agh! Why did you do that?! BloodBack wont be happy!" They yelled more after this one said thwt and they started charging at her, swords and all.

"Alright," Areli sighed, following along with Raylin and the Whale. Commotion sounded behind him, making him walk faster. His heart beat faster, remembering the feeling of fainting in the water.

"Won't be happy?" Siren repeated. Whipping her large weapon around, she knocked the swords out of the nearest soldiers, metal clanging loudly. "You're the ones who offended him," she remarked. She kicked back a soldier who advanced toward her with a sword. "You're lucky I'm here to punish you and not BloodBack himself."

"Hmm, I see, and you decided to handle the situation with insults?" Arrow said "Hey, he attacked first!" Mumbled Riptide "Oh I'm sure Coldfire isn't innocent as well, but what you did was wrong to. Two wrongs 'never' make a right." Arrow was quite disappointed with Riptide. "But- uhhhhh!" Riptide got up and walked towards his tent. He sat down, //Stupid, this is all just plain stupid, what were we even mad about?//

"I hope I didn't truly injure him," Rohn mumbled to himself, still trying to pin down the restless Zeraxi. She whined like a pup.
"Rohn! Let me go!" She yelped, ready to bite his tail.
"You aren't healed," the dragon retorted, snapping his thoughts to focus on her.

(Ahh sorry guys, but I need to leave for a bit. I've got an assignment due in an hour and I've been neglecting it all evening. I'll try to be back as soon as possible!)

"I need to go Day." Crow said before gliding down. "No doubts Siren is taking care of everthing. She's too smart and I doubt a disautonomia SunFury managed to save me..." He said to himself. He landed on the shore and ran up to the food court and saw the scene. "..."

(I'm gonna kinda rant to myself here about Jason since I have nowhere else to
So in the town of Raines it's basically just a human village but with animals, mainly wolves. There are some humans there but most are easily outcast as hunters are known to kill many. There's the usual stuff, inn, homes, library, think of all the houses of a Minecraft village basically but a tiny bit more, like a little medic place etc.
So Jason is kinda the outcast because stereotypical oc, he's easily brought down by anything and finds comfort in the rare feathers that find their way to his home. These spacefeathers are actually feathers of Adain that got trapped in the sky by the star wolves (aka delta and rune) and when they fell back to earth they had the stars on them. He always looks sad, no matter what. Just that kind of guy. While the other "leave me alone" characters actually need people (much like me) Jason just straight up accepts nothing because they didn't accept anything from him.
Many call him insane, as he is forever by himself, and many times when he walks around with the feathers, they blend into the night sky. Some also tease him of the marking on his shoulder, one that was created by the feathers.)
