Nevaeh slowly walked into potions class, almost hesitantly, and found a seat in the front row.

(shdgbd you're not a crybaby, i probably would've felt the same if that happened to me. you'll find a new doggo <3)

Izzy walked in with more confidence than her friend and sat beside her. She took her potions book out of her bag and flicked through it.

Nevaeh looked over Izzy's shoulder. Every now and then, she'd say something like "Ooh! That one looks interesting... Though I haven't even heard of the ingredients...."

Izzy didn't mind Nevaeh reading over her shoulder. She pointed out several potions that she liked. "Look, Amortentia. It's a love potion... Felix Felicis, gives you good luck... Draught of Peace helps with anxiety..."

Neveah scribbled in notes, probably some of the recipes that interested her.
"I'm suprised some of these are in here- A love potion? Could be dangerous.. I'd think we'd find this in the restricted area of the library, not in our school book!"

"Oh, yeah..." Izzy flipped back to the page for Amortentia. "That's odd." she shrugged, looking oddly shifty. "Must be just a... uh... mistake. Added by accident."

Nevaeh raised her right eyebrow.
"Yeah." she finally replied

Izzy closed the book and set it down on the desk, relieved that she hadn't been questioned. //I'll tell her later when we're not busy.// She straightened up in her chair and waited for class to start.

Izzy was unaware of Nevaeh looking at her, as she was looking the other way at the rest of the students.
Suddenly the door opened again, and Izzy turned back to see who it was. Presumably the teacher. She picked up the book, throwing a slightly nervous glance at Nevaeh.

Izzy hummed and found the right page in her book and scanned the list of ingredients.

Neveah looked away, as though there was too much on her mind to focus. She fiddled with a charm on her necklace.

Too busy to look at what Nevaeh was doing, Izzy chopped up some stuff (idk I forgot the ingredients) and chucked it into the cauldron.

Nevaeh focused again, and looked at the stuff Izzy was chopping.
