Older ones like Koro and R.C kinda have that thing going on, but newer ones like Marcus don't. Marcus is an Elite Guard, yes, but that's like a job he just excels at and enjoys. lol

And that's why I never do clean lines lol, too much work if you ask me

Honestly, my ponies don't have a whole lot in common with FiM stuff.

The unicorn & alicorn magic is less FiM and more general fantasy, there're no special talents (just jobs and careers lol)

There /are/ ponies that do bear resemblance to the princesses in the show (I guess), but they're meant to be god and goddess figures in general that are-said-to control certain things. They /are not/ royalty.

Royal figures in my pony universe are like human royalty, they don't have special powers. They just rule places.

Rocky: because he's physically the strongest character and can take the most hits at of all of them.
Rosanna: she looks "girly" but isn't afraid to butally hurt people. Like a rose. It's also an Italian name; she's of Italian descent.

Jet: "Jet" is a type of lignite that resembles his color pattern. It originally stood for "Jet black", a pun, because his first color pattern had black in it.

Atlas: He supports the team with medicine and chemicals for Rocky. "Atlas" is the name of a Greek god that supported the earth.

Octane(main bad guy): "Octane" is a very flammable chemical in gasoline. He's an incarnated demon from Hell and the main idea of my story is about chemicals.

Polaris(other main bad guy): His name came from the nuclear missle Polaris; total destruction that spreads through out the land.

I can't name off my fourth main character yet, but I'll give you a hint to what their name is: It's the name of a gun company that was established in New York in 1880. ;P

I feel you on the clean lines, though. I completely dropped the typical lining process and now just refine sketches by erasing and redrawing parts until they're clean enough, because I just /hated/ the lining process. Took too long and I always lost interest, haha.
