I'm going to be a little lazy. So this won't have very much detail.

Fizz is a high school student. But lets say she has passing grades...but she still sucks at school. This is because she always spaces out and forgets to do her homework so she always turns it in late.
There is also a personality that appears when she gets angry. (basically a split personality). This is how she joined a gang. It was because of her split personality when she got angry for a long time.
