I was challenged by a friend to redraw an old piece to see how much progress I've made as an artist. I dont think I've made too much progress. In fact, I hardly use any shading anymore, cuz I really cant get a handle on lightsources. I've come pretty far in the way I draw my characters, I do try to imagine them in a 3D space, which helps in sculpting their shapes, especially the bill of the hat. And I can draw hands much better now.
