Tarnish is an enigma to society,he keeps any personal information of himself out of public eye(his first name was a slip-up). Leader of Peridigm, he keeps a stoic nature and shows a constant state of neutrality, as if nothing bothers him. However, he feels he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and he often doesn't get sleep due to it. Tarnish rarely takes on his Graphite form, as Diamond occurs when he feels pressured(cont in comments.)

His emotional barrier gap is due to the reason why he's leader at such a young age;his mother led it before, but she's terminally ill. At her request, he leads in her footsteps, taking on a similar appearance in hopes he can be as grand as she once was.
