Akara was in the castle gardens, it was full of hedges of a large diversity of flowers and other plant like specimens. Akara was currently what it looked to be making a flower crown. He was weaving different flowers into the crown and smiling happily as he did so. Its been a while since he has relaxed like this. He takes a moment to look up and he spots Lumen and waves at him.

Lumen had elected to take a walk, for he had a lot on his mind. He had an emotional attachment to a certain someone, but had no idea how he should go about finding out if they felt the same way. He often found that walking in the lush gardens of Castle Citrine helped him think. Maybe it was the beautiful array of flowers and peaceful ambiance of the area that soothed his troubled mind. Or maybe it was the sound of the cicadas buzzing and the birds chirping in time with the rhythmic trickling of the garden fountain. It might be all of the above. He had been walking for some time when something caught his eye. His master, Lord Akara, waved in greeting to him. Quickly, he strode over to him and bowed in greeting to his master.

"Hello Akara, how is your day?"

Lumen had just noticed the string of flowers strung together by intertwined vines and stems in Akara's hands. His ear twitched in curiosity.

"Ah, Floral weaving are we? I often enjoy weaving grass into small huts."

Kirena is just in the back watching XD

Akara blushed slightly "Ah yes, i quite like weaving." He patted the empty side of the bench for Lumen to sit. "You look like you have something on your mind Lumen. Do you wish to talk about it?"

Lumen paused, a strangely awkward look dawning on him.

"Er...Well...I-"

Lumen sat down on the bench. He stared into the distance for a few seconds before slumping, head bowed down.

"I am so lost right now...."

(It okay @Kohai! Take your time! I know how it feels ^0^)

Akara smiled gently "What is on your mind" he set the flower crown to his right on the bench and sat back a bit on a bush. "I am here to listen and give council if needed."

Lumen nodded slowly. He hesitated before speaking.

"V-very well milord Akara....Just please do not tell anyone what I am about to tell you. And please be prepared, for what I tell you might be surprising...."

Lumen looked EXTREMELY embarrassed. He still not sure whether or not he wanted to go through with the divulging of his inner most feelings.

(I hafta go at 6:30Pm MST/8:30pm EST/2:30Pm HST. (Pertty sure I got the Hawaiian time right. I dunno xD But I gotta go soon :-;)

"Is it about a woman?" He crossed his arms quite amused. "And dont worry your secret is safe with me."

Lumen gulped quietly before speaking.

"W-well....As a matter of f-fact....It is....Y-you may remember her...."

Lumen was fidgeting nervously as he tried to delay the unveiling of his secret.

Akara closed his eyes as if to try and remember any woman he came across that he and lumen met together. "Hmmm... is it about..." he leaned in a bit. "Not claudiesa... oh! Lady Prima?"

Lumen blushed violently, his face looking rather disturbed.

"E-eh!..."

Sighing in defeat, Lumen spoke.

"Y-yes....The....Erm......Respectable Lady Prima......I know...it is unexpected.....and strange as well milord...b-but....she was the first person to invoke such a....strange f-feeling inside me....for a...quite a long time....The feeling had been buried...long ago...and n-now it has arisen again...."

Lumen lowered his head once again in embarrassment.

Akara laughed slightly. "Well she was quite a spectical. I havent gotten the chance to personally know her but she seems like a very nice woman. " he pat lumen on his back lightly "Alright I shall help you in anyway that I can." He smiles michiviously unlike his usual self.

"Th-thank you milord....for understanding....Forgive me for my current behavior....As you can see....I am a complete wreck...I can not stop seeing that ghoulish grin....From the festival...It has lately been invading my thought recently."

Lumen adjusted on the bench awkwardly.

"How should go about inquiring about her feelings of me?....How do I figure out if she likes me?...."

Akara position him self in the 'thinker' pose. "Well for myself I would watch posture and other significant signs of taking an interest." He gestured to his neck "For example of she moves her hair out of the way to expose her neck its a sign of submission. That or shes just hot" he laughs slightly. "When speaking watch her face see if her eyes dialate or if her face turns a bit pink when speaking to you, it means shes looking at something she likes." He then smiles "Or you can flat out just ask her "

Lumen nodded slowly, trying to ponder this.

"I see...Submission......That is a rather...Provocative statement..."

Lumen blushed as he heard the last part.

"S-Sire!......Er....Well, I guess that would make sense....B-but...."

Lumen looked back and forth nervously. He wanted to be sure no one else was listening in on them.

"J-just ask her?...B-but what if she does not feel the same way?....I would never be able to look at her or even have a normal conversation with her for the rest of my life.....And if I was to ask her.....Should I set up a dinner?...Desert?....."

(Totally died reading what Akara just said xD)

"Even if she did not feel the same way it doesnt mean you have to avoid her the rest of your life. How about this, I'll hold a dance of sort.. " he snaps his fingers "A ball. Ask her if she'll be your date. If she says yes then she shares some interest if she is unsure persaue her, and if she says no suggest another outing you two could do. It doesnt have to be grand or anything when you ask her, have it casually comeout. If you make it grand its like youre forcing her to say yes. Even if it may not seem like it."

(Just be blunt, hand her a note lol do you like me check the box yes or no xD)

Lumen nodded slowly.

'I see the logic..... A b-ball....I-I....Well...I guess that would work....But if I ask her to a dance...it might seem....a bit forceful....Maybe I will go buy some Umbra truffle.....and make some parfait....Then I will ask her to test taste it......And then I will pop the question....That will work.....Maybe.."

"Or maybe poetry.....Poetry worked for my father....He wrote a 2000 word poem about how much he loved my mother..."

"It was a suggestion." He laughs a bit. "Youre making it sound like you want to wed her." Akara then goes silent a bit "Do you wish to wed her Lumen." He smiles as he leans back on the bush.

"W-well....I would like to take her on a few....dates before such time...since I would hate to rush into things.........But if things go well, and that the preliminary tests of friendship work....Being wed would be the next course of action...."

Lumen would gulp again. He was not used to being vulnerable.

"Thinking very far into the future i see." Akara enjoyed seeing a vulnerable side to Lumen, since he always seemed composed and calm. Akara picked up the flower crown and continued to weave some daisies into it. "Well my best advice for you is be yourself, never anything youre not. She'll come to like that about you." He smiled at his work and put it on Lumens head "there. Perfect" he laughs a bit. "You are quite lucky to find a woman who you wish to court in such a way. I have yet to find one. Though i suppose its for the best.." he looks at the fountain "I am quite busy still and to be frank having to always think about the good of the country and having an heir while im still so young myself frightens me."

(Ah im currently rping with Haiiro, perhaps another time Shadow? Last time i rp-ed with multiple people I lost track really fast, since i had to go to different pics an all.)

Lumen nodded.

"Indeed....Life is a lot like chess...You have to anticipate the future and have alternate choices......"

Lumen felt the crown on his head before speaking.

"I see.....You are not the only one who has felt the burdens of duty and expectations.....My past was full of such dilemma.....Always training...always studying...honing my body and mind....I had to live up to my mothers expectations....."

Lumen took the crown off and looked at it. marveling at the amazing design.

"Thank you for the flower crown, it really is great craftsmanship. You could do it professionally."

Akara smiled shyly from the compliment. "Oh my mother used to make them, she taught me how before she passed." He laughed and "Ah parents and their expectations. Though its not as bad as an entire country looking to you for guidance and your image is all they have of you since you cant get out much." He sighs listening to the birds chirping die down as it became later. "And continuing on about the heir subject its hard to think about raising a child in this day in age. War can break out at any moment."

"Indeed. Your life is very tasking I would say. It requires very much tedious devotion and work."

"This is a rather unnerving time to live in, not knowing whether or not your country will be tossed into the frying pan. I understand the apprehension to having offspring in this era."

Lumen stretched his legs and arms.

"Most would think I would have great ambitions like....Becoming a hero....world renowned servant.....But my real dream...it may sound rather.....strange...but I just want to be a father...and have a family....So I would like to be part of a family.....before something unfortunate happens to me...."

(FUUUUUDGE! I gotta go @Kohai! :-; Maybe we can continue this later? I bid you a goodnight. I'm sorry I have to go on such short notice ;c)

"Well lets not dwadle on our unsavoiry demise" he pats Lumen and laughs "You will be a very good father that i can assure you." Akara stands and dusts off his trousers "One day I too would love to have little ones scurring the castle grounds. I really want a little girl funny enough. Come we can continue our conversation indoors irs becoming quite late."
