At the Sands of Scorbi by CritCorsac
This week on "Crit Takes Forever To Draw Anything That Involves Characters And Lines!"
Bleh... Most people could draw this in half an hour. I'm rather out of practise with lined art (It has to be so precise O_O how do you guys do it so well xD!) and designing characters haha!
I know less people like me trying this style, and that's ok. It's just when I imagined #Svolfell in my mind it looked more like this than my usual lineless style and I wanted to practise the style a bit.
Anyway, these two characters are part of the 7 main characters I wanted to draw. I've drawn Ti before (the small one on the left). The one on the right is Vesheekra Raf'kaw.
Vasheekra is a Svakorian, a lizard-like race often known for their magical prowess. She is incapable of speaking (greatly limiting her spellcasting) as she had her tounge removed many years ago after her people found out she was a Moon Speaker, a class of mage which are often feared for their insight. Needless to say, she's not on good terms with her own people now.
Only Svakorains are known to be Moon Speakers, and none of which choose to be one, the moon chooses them.
I'll probably write up more in-depth descriptions of the main cast somewhere at some point.

Re: thank you for your nice comment! but don't sell yourself short your an amazing artist yourself and yes the poses are complex leave me I had my fits with it but a lot of times you just gotta go outside your comfort bubble and its ok if it's not perfect the first time, just go with it and keep practicing and you get it, just have fun because that what art is all about ^-^

I've never really thought about it but I guess I just draw with lines
all the time xD
Though generaly for it takes like 1-2 hours which is still pretty long 0-0
My question is how do you bg? Man that is the problem I have. :P
