Whoever it was controlling turned to dust when Solen got stabbed. (One of Solen's abilities, some sort of self protection)
However, now the sword is stuck in Solen's back, and if he touches it, it will try to take him as the next host.

Solen's blood is kinda quick silver/mercury like.
Idk if i managed to draw the dust effect from the last host ok.. I like it ok enough tho =)
