I've shaded this way so much that cell shading is harder for me to do than...whatever style this shading is.

tbh the only thing that annoys me when I shade is that I can't seem to add other colors than the whole palette
and what I mean by that is the blue bits of the chicken feathers here
if I shaded this, it wouldn't have that but I don't really understand the basics and main purpose of it
