I just really loved the gradient?? Plus the idea of basing some designs off actual animals was really cool
And this is just a random suggestion, but you could add rare/deformed traits to make some more interesting than others (different amounts of ears etc, kinda like how you did different tails on these)
But hey man at least you started your species. I resketched the ref of one of them today but didnt feel like posting it xD
