Apparently Icarus, in mythology, was an angel, or something along the lines of that, whose wings would catch on fire after a set amount of time. Icarus is not a character in the game but more so a representation or symbolism of Pit's inability to fly on his own because as we all know, his wings burn out, after 5 minutes of use, just like the original Icarus in Greek Mythology. Hoped this solved some confusion.
