LBP Memories by Penplat
Happened to think about the time when I used to play a lot of LittleBigPlanet, and decided to make a drawing of my usual persona on there. If you haven’t played the games, then I’d recommend giving them a try if you get the chance. The single player campaigns are generally fun, but the real draw of the games, especially in the case of 1 and 2 (haven’t played enough 3 to know how active the community is), is the games’ realization of user-created content. The online community for the games has several gems here and there, and while the level design system is not as accessible as Mario Maker, it does allow more creative freedom if you learn how to utilize the various tools at your disposal, such as logic gates. I’d say watch a few let’s plays, and if it looks like you’d enjoy it, you probably will. : )
Anyway, as you can see, my usual getup was essentially the Ninja Penguin. Some of you might remember me stating that Alan has, at least, a fascination with ninja-related material. Since both detectives and ninjas are generally depicted as stealth-associated professions, that was something I went ahead and tentatively put in Alan’s character as a slight nod to my old LBP days.

I myself had a little go-to avatar, and I too actually based one of my current characters on him. I'm really glad to see someone else shares the immense nostalgia I have for the LBP games and their creative communities. :)

Very clever nod! Cool ninja penguin character! You even get to design your own character, I find that really cool! I've hear about this game a lot and what you can do, but I never looked into it much (probably because I only have a Playstation 2, which hasn't been touched in quite awhile)

Re: Surprisingly, I actually wasn't thinking about breakable Breath of the Wild equipment when I made the comic. Always interesting to see my work accidently have extra jokes!

Re: Thanks so much! I actually think I picked turtwig the first time I played pokemon pearl, but I reset and continued finishing the game with piplup. I kind of consider both of them my first starter pokemon now :D
