Its nothing small folks, really. It takes control of lives and prevents them from there full potential. It can be controlled sometimes, but in order to get the services needed its expensive. So, funds are helpful to people, which autism speaks tries to help kids in need. I have a brother with autism, and I know how helpful a helping hand can be to him. Autism speaks also works tirelessly for a cure. Thak you for you time, and please star if you know someone or are related to someone with autism
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

I'm autistic and I don't think I can be prevented from reaching my full potential. :D Also I don't want to be cured since I'm good enough the way I am. If people constantly tell autistic people that they're "sick" or that they won't amount to anything, then of course the autistic person might end up believing that(I've seen this happen before) and not try to achieve their full potential. And autistic people are generally happier when they view their autism as a different set of strengths/weaknesses than as something that will prevent them from enjoying life.

autism speaks works tirelessly to pay themselves and force-feed bleach to autistic kids... is that really what you want to be supporting?

Autism Speaks in an organization that makes money off of exploiting autistic people and saying that there's a cure for something that cannot be cured. And autism doesn't keep people from reaching their full potential. Autism isn't some epidemic that needs a cure. What needs to happen is that people actually listen to actual autistic people about autism instead of an ableist "organization" that spreads more lies about autism than truths and uses hate mongering to make money.
