Karen was helping out his mother, who had become sick. He was training to be a nurse like her, but he felt like he was not good enough because his mother was not becoming any better. Scratchinsniff's son told him that it might be better to jst let her move on. He did not want to. He was told to go up to the tower because Wakko was sick, and so he did. He knocked on the tower.

Karen smiles shyly, "H..hey...I came to check up on Wakko..." He looked up to the oldest Warner in respect for him actually taking care of his siblings.

Karen rubbed his neck and sighed, he walked in and saw Wakko in his bed. He went over and placed his hand on Wakko's head. "What do you suppose he has? What symptoms has he shown?"

Also, the nurse is his mother, she gets her looks, but he is more [less blonde and stupid]

Karen took out some pain killers and medicine and he set them on the bedstand. "I will try my best to help cure you Wakko...it may take a while though..." He took a cloth out from his bag and he looked around, "Yakko...can you dampen this?"

Karen takes the cloth and drapes it over Wakko's head, he sighed after looking at Wakko and he muttered, "I...could probably do more for you...than I could my mother.."

Karen shook his head, "Just lots of rest...if it gets worse, then we will need to give him some meds..."

Karen nodded, "Plenty, at least double his average intake...whatever that might be." He sighed, "I will be where I usually am, working for scratchinsniff and his son...just give me a call if you need me. Unless...you want me to stay here?"

Karen smiles softly. "I understand..." He heard his phone ringing and he blinked, he picked up the phone and after a moment of hearing a russian voice from the other side he dropped the phone and he placed his hands to his face. "N..no..." He choked.

Karen held his chest and got up, he shook terribly, "...My...mother...her failing health finally took her..." He picked up the phone, the deep russian voice trying to calm him down. "Thank you...Vorik..." He hung up the phone and leaned beside Wakko.

He held his head, "I am sorry...I just...don't tell Wakko this when he wakes up...I do not him in a worse condition...I...need to go talk about...the costs of a burial ceremony..and..." His eyes watered and he tried not to cry.

Karen shook his head, "I..I promised my mother...I would be strong...I...-he hugged Yakko back and he pulled out three teddy bears from his bag, "O..oh....right...here...from my mom."

Karen nodded, "She wanted to give them to you three the next time she saw you at the office." He placed a teddy bear next to Wakko's face and gave the other two the soft stuffed animals.

Karen shook his head, "Please don't mourn...she...she is in a better place now..." He noticed Wakko snuggling and he stroked his forehead.

Karen blinked and knelt, he looked under the bed after hearing what Yakko muttered and he gulped. "Oh.."

Karen noticed this and he held his mouth, "O..oh dear....here...get up Wakko, I will change your sheets." He picked up Wakko and then set him on his feet, then began to change the sheets with one he had intended to use for himself but...

Karen went to his favorite italian restaurant with Wakko, he did not bother waking him up...the smell of food would do it.

Karen smiled softly, "Hey Wakko...you alright...we are getting a little something to eat..."

Karen nodded and placed Wakko down on the chair, "Order anything Wakko..it is on me."

Karen muttered, "Would you like all three?" He snapped and a waitress came over quickly, she looked absolutely hypnotized by Karen's handsomeness, "What might I give...serve you today my kind sir?"
Karen replied, "Some spaghetti for him and I, also anything else he asks for."

Karen chuckled, the waitress smiled and nodded, she leaned down a bit, "Your food will be out soon handsome."

Karen heard Wakko and he turned to face him, "Wakko...is that all you want?"
The waitress seemed pretty upset hearing this, so she pushed a little further by sliding a piece of paper down Karens shirt, "Call me sexy...I will get your food, and satisfy your hunger."
Karen jumped a bit and nervously chuckled, "O..Okay...thank you..."

Karen sighed and looked through his wallet, "I wonder why that woman kept trying to flirt with me...can they not tell when a man is not straight?" He pulled out a hundred dollar bill and put his wallet back in his pocket, "This should be enough...actually...more than enough heh...but that is all I have right now...wonder if they have change.."

Karen looked over at Wakko and rubbed his neck, "Yeah...I am gay...I do not really like women...never did...except for my mom..."

Karen chuckled, "Wakko...you are the only person I have told that too...I trust you a lot ya know. Oh...I forgot to ask, are you doing okay? Should I stay with you tonight to make sure you are not still sick...or do you need me to go home?"

Karen placed his hand on the other's head, "Of course Wakko...I know we only met yesterday...and...scratchinsniff told me about you being all weird, I thought I was not gonna like you...but...I think.. " He was cut off by a plate being placed down in front of his face, "Here you go handsome." She pulled her shirt down a bit and leaned over the table, "Hey...you mind if I sit with you...mm."

She sat down and kissed his cheek.
Karen cringed a bit and he muttered, "Help me..."

The woman screamed and ran away.
Karen wiped his face and frowned, "I...I d..did not like that at all."

Karen gulped, he chuckled softly, "Y..Yeah...thanks Wakko..." He slid his fingers through his hair and he sighed, "Well...there is your food lil buddy...we should get eating so we could go back...it is getting late."

Karen puts the money on the table, "I am not waiting for her to come back...let us just go..." He takes so containers and puts the food in then he picks up Wakko and walks out as fast as he could. Once they got to the tower, he placed Wakko and the food down and he lied on Wakko's bed.

Karen shuddered and when the other got on him he felt better. He pulled the other up and he stroked his head, "Thank you...Wakko..."

Karen muttered, "Y..You could do anything right? Do...you mind showing me...what you look like as a human...I always wanted to know...but my mother would have too...

He slid his hand to Wakkos cheek. "My mother even knew that...s..she wanted me to...ask you...out. but...nn...I did not know if you would like me."

Karen smiled softly and he cuddled with him. "R..really?! You do?!"

Karen sighed, "I don't mind that at all...to be honest...it makes me happy to hear that...it reminds me of when you used to do it to my mom...." He leaned down and kissed the other on the forehead, "Now...time to rest...I have to give you and your siblings shots tomorrow..."

Karen sighed, "Wakko...you need them...I don't want you getting sick." Karen pulled Wakko up and he lied him on his chest.

Karen smiles softly, he almost completely missed that Yakko and Dot saw them together, he sighed and fell asleep cuddling Wakko.

Kohlriiv was in his fathers chair, he was now completely heart broken, "Oh...I see...nevermind then..." He sighed.
Karen frowned, "Well...um...not sure what he will do..." He saw the others waking up.

Karen placed his hand on the others and rubbed his tummy gently, "Still wanna go somewhere?"
