Next up is Thursten, one of the many dragons I have adopted from @Radiant Raindragon! Thanks for bearing with me while I neglected him till now. 'XD
Name: Thursten
Gender: male
Species: fire dragon
Age: 2070 (random numbers!)
Height at head: 31 feet
This dude is a volcanic dragon that resembles a coal. His body captures the heat in his environment, resulting in his glowing markings and the flames along his spine. When in contact with water or cold air for an extended period of time, his flesh turns into ash and begins to crumble. First to take damage are usually his wings and feet, as exposure to the cool wind and ground are enough to harm him. In order to retain his heat and heal his wounds, he spends several hours submerged in lava every day.
In a completely healthy state, Thursten will be all black, have a slight red glow, and have shifting patterns/markings.

My inspiration came from the movie The Secret of Kells, The animation is really beautiful and the story is very unique. ^w^
It's on netflix I recommend watching it. :)
