So on March 8, I decided to use the free time I had that night and write an e-mail to Jens Anderson (founder of colors?) asking him if colors is getting a new update because, y'know, colors is currently on life support at the moment. I get an e-mail back from him the next morning saying that he just put up a post on his blog about "the future of colors". So I go over to his blog and in his post, he explains how a lot of the people in the colors community keep telling him if we're getting any updates or if it's going over to the switch? Personally, I think colors for the switch sounds pretty eh to me but who knows? This could be a good chance to revive the community :) so anyway, he says that right now he's currently working on a game that's going to be on the switch called Yoku's Island express. He said that once he's finished with that project, he'll see if the switch is a good platform for colors. Thoughts?

MOF: yeah! and even if colors doesn't make it to the switch, at least he'll have colors in mind for something new :)

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, but some kind of stylus that works on the Switch would be needed. I don't think the switch has its own stylus.

If jens does wind up doing colors for the switch and I hope he does, I hope the switch and 3ds communities won't be cut off from eachother.
I won't be getting a switch anytime soon. It's a lot of money for a switch and the dang pro controller (SEVENTY BUCKS for a controller?), plus the paid online, which I already play and pay for xbox so... lol
