Sheesh this was a stressful one. I changed the background no less than 3 times. I'd recommend turning the brightness up on whatever device you view this on, it's a little hard to see otherwise.

Out of all the victims of the Neon Eye incident (See here: #FEBIEYES), none are as peculiar as The Jester. Almost nothing is known for sure about him, only rumors. He was once an ordinary court Jester, but for which country's king is still debated. Some say he was childhood friends with the princess of that time. Others say he had an romantic interest in her, whether unrequited or not is also debated. He was the last of the victims, right after the aforementioned princess. Most think he went into the woods to save her.
Out of all the victims, the Jester is the only one who remembered who he was, and tried to make the princess remember. However, she was afraid of him, and his seeming obsession with her, and she had him banished. In his grief, be it unintentional or not, the Jester set the woods ablaze. Some think it was an accident, as there have been reports of items randomly bursting into flames in his presence, others think he did it on purpose, and it was his way of ridding the woods of the eyes that ruined him.

The jester has become a similar folk tale, a sort of antithesis of the eyes. Whenever people are afraid of the eyes, they stop being so when they remember the Jester will protect them. #FEBI
