Take Back Colors!

I remember what it was like back in 2013, I had tons of paintings in my feed and people were generally friendly. Now it's a miracle if I get three new things in my feed in two days. I want Colors to return to its former glory, but I really don't know if it's worth saving. There are now tons more sites for posting art, like DA among others. They're also way less buggy and way higher quality. I don't find drawing on my DS fun anymore because programs like SAI exist that are way better and have way more possibilities for what can be created. It's hard to say, but I think we need to let Colors go. It hasn't had an update in years and always crashes my phone too. I dunno. Just my thoughts.

I've said this several times in the past and I'll continue to say it: CS needs to release another update and add more features to Colors! to bring it a little closer to par with other art sites. /That/ would definitely bring people back and bring some newcomers in too.

That being said, I'm worried about a potential shutdown too... this place is my main and only way of communicating with a lot of people, plus I just love Colors! despite its flaws.

I haven't been here long, but I can tell how 'empty' it feels.
Everyone seems to be in seperated into groups, who only like/comment on each other's paintings. It's disapointing to say the least. :')

i agree with kat, just a small set of new features would do the job

the thing that makes Colors!3D unique is that you can make 3d art

if only the there were more tools though

also it does feel empty but there's not much i could really do about it

...better servers that don't crash would be a start

Totally agreed. All the artists I love on here are slowly leaving, and it needs to stop.

I'm really trying to come back...the lack of art here from me is killing me. I have been unable to post art since my 3ds broke. it sucks.

Hopefully this won't happen, with out colours 3d I would've been here and improved on my art or met amazing artists that helped me in life and increased my confidence. #TakeBackColors we need to keep this place its a nice safe place just for artists and those wanting to be inspired everyone is unique in their own way!
