(Aggron) Well, Jeremiah mentioned in the last RP that he couldn't interrogate or arrest Armin without any proof that he's the murderer. Maybe we should just say that Armin left the bar after he noticed they were talking about him.
I want to move this thing forwards quicky because so many peoples' characters are stuck otherwise.

I worry about people misunderstanding me if I don't use emojis, because it's not exactly easy to tell what someone's really thinking through text on a screen. I sometimes wonder if I come off as rude if I don't do it. XD

Nearly finished tis drawing, you can start without me if you need to

It was around 7AM. The morning was bright and clear, unusually for Shacklestone City.

Arminus stood outside a shop that hadn't opened yet, leaning against the wall and tapping his foot. He looked nonchalant, but there was a faint gleam of anxiousness in his eyes that anyone passing by would've probably failed to notice.

As the clock tower in the centre of the city chimed seven, he suddenly straightened up, brushed down his clothes, and looked in a vaguely northern direction.

'I'm getting tired of this,' he mumbled. After a quick glance up and down to ensure nobody was watching him, he turned and swiftly headed down a side street that led to the outskirts of the city.

(Pssst Draco, I'm having Sheldon and Tochi already know each other if that's OK, Sheldon needs people to talk to. XD)

Sheldon was on his way to school, glancing around anxiously as he crossed a road. He wanted to catch up with his friend and tell her about his meeting with the strange man Jeremiah the night before.

(I'm not quite sure what to do w/ Finy...)

Finy didn't sleep much, waking in his crummy apartment, he got ready and made his way outside, "Wooo..." he says bitterly, "Another day of rejection here I come..." he shuffles out the buildings front doors, keys jangling around his neck.

Tochi walked down the pavement, brushing her hair and eating a cereal bar at the same time. She'd woken up late and had to eat breakfast and tidy herself up on the way to school.

((Finy likes art, but I don't think he likes Asher that much, let's do it >:D))

Crowley blearily stumbled out of his own apartment and crossed the street. He never bothered to wake up too early, as he hated mornings and he didn't have work or school. He spotted an odd-looking white-haired man not far away and, guessing he was a fellow shapeshifter, headed over to him. 'Good morning! Eh, not really...'

{Awoken by his alarm, Jeremiah stirs from his sleep and hits the snooze. He lived in a one bedroom loft above his detective agency. Quickly, he puts on his jeans and trenchcoat and walks down the stairs into his lobby. But, he notices something that wasn't there last night. A letter was slipped under the front door from his receptionist. He picks it up and reads it: "Dear, Jeremiah,
All this tension between races is just too much to bear. I can't sleep anymore knowing that I'm surrounded by those 'things' and that they could attack at any moment. Also, to think that you would do business with them as well is of no comfort to me. I'm moving someplace safer, and, with a heavy heart, I must resign. Thank you for the job and good luck to you, sir. Sincerely, Anabelle."
{Jeremiah folds up the letter and puts it down on the reception desk.}"Damn it..."

Ivy was walking down the street past a row of shops. 'Oh! Is that a flower store? I've never seen that here before...' She immediately went to peer through the front window.

Finy glanced over his shoulder at Crowley, "Yeah not what I'd call a good morning" he huffs and starts down the sidewalk, thinking of places to apply that he didn't already try at, ignoring the man behind him now.

(Draco)

Outside the school, Sheldon put his back against a tree and stood there nervously. He didn't like going inside until Tochi turned up to go with him. He knew from years of experience that he was far more likely to get picked on if he were alone; everyone saw him as a little weak kid, easy to push around. /Which is true enough.../ he thought morosely.

Ango looks out of the open window in her room, checking the surroundings. Deciding that the coast is clear, she hops out of the window and whistles quietly for her dog Toby, who quickly comes to the window. After a few seconds of coaxing, he jumps down from the ledge and joins his mistress on the pavement. Smiling from behind her mask, she clicks her fingers once then heads off down the street, hands retreating into the pockets of her hoodie. Toby trots by her side.
They were both glad to be out of the house. After all, it was a beautiful morning, and the other kids in the care home would be waking up soon. They would rather be punished for sneaking out than stay with those rowdy kids any more than they had to.

(Blood)

Crowley threw up his arms in a dramatic gesture. 'Finally, someone else who hates mornings!' he said, tagging along behind Finy. 'I gotta say though, you look even worse than I do. Something up?'

(Kole)

'Hi there!' said Ivy brightly, shuffling closer to examine the flowers. 'These are beautiful.' /They'd make a lovely gift for, hmm, someone.../ she thought.

Tochi spotted a familiar red-haired figure ahead and stuffed her hairbrush into her pocket. She sped up, knowing how Sheldon got worried when she wasn't around.

Finy looked to Crowley, a little annoyed he was following him, "Just wasting away in this sh.thole and trying to get a job" he walks a little quicker

(*Bag. not pocket. Unless she has a small hairbrush or big pockets.)

Mortikai was already outside, having not slept for too long during the night. He was sat back on a bench near a bus stop, having no desire to actually catch the transport. He just lays back, watching the world go by.

{Dianne, who also lives in the same building she works in, went and unlocked the front door to her shop. Her shop was dark and smelled of smoke, lit only by a candle chandelier and daylight coming in through the windows. The store was filled with old wooden shelves filled neatly bottles and other items. High up on the wall in the back of the building was a large glass box that contained the mummified remains of a human, labeled at the base as "Wolf Knight, Ferros, circa 1009 BCE". Sitting behind the counter, Dianne sits, smoking a cigarrete, waiting for the day's customers.}

Arminus didn't take long to reach his destination. Slipping unnoticed down a few more side streets, he finally came to an open area. There were no people here; few ever ventured this deep into the outskirts of Shacklstone.

Standing in front of him was a large, ramshackle building that looked like it might have once been a mansion, but was so rotted and worn-down that from the outside it appeared completely uninhabited. Armin adjusted his sleeves and collar, took a breath, and stepped up towards the front door, raising a hand to knock.

(Blood)

'Get a job? Seriously? Why are you even bothering?' Crowley replied, failing to hold back a slight snicker. 'You know us 'non-humans' get treated like cra.p around here. You'll never get employed by any company run by a human.'

"Oh boy, thanks for the motivational speech" Finy scowls at Crowley, "Unlike other inhumans I want to earn a decent living and not do it by thieving or other cr.ap" he holds out a hand and then points it at Crowley's feet, freezing them to the cement. "Have a nice day weirdo" he turns his head and bumps straight into Asher.

(Draco)

Sheldon's head whipped up as he heard footsteps coming towards him, then relaxed when he saw who it was. 'Um, T-Tochi! Over here!' he called out nervously, a lock of red hair falling over his face and hiding both his eyes.

(Kole)

'I'd love to,' said Ivy, inhaling the sweet scent of the flowers as she stepped inside the shop. 'I might buy some for a friend of mine...'

{Jeremiah opens the front door of his office and puts a "Help Wanted" sign on the outside of it. After that, he walks down the street, intent on getting something to eat and a cup of coffee.}

(King: Sorry for not replying or anything, all my characters are preoccupied right now. XD I need more of them, haha.)

Tochi stopped in front of Sheldon. "Morning, Sheldon! Anything happen last night?"

'Hey! I was only giving a fellow weirdo some life tips,' Crowley exclaimed, folding his arms and looking aggravated. 'I could help you, y'know!' He was shouting after Finy, being unable to follow him.

(Kole)

'Yep! A very nice friend who helped me out last night.' Ivy started browsing the selection of flowers in the shop, paying special attention to anything vaguely green in colour.

(Draco)

'No... not especially...' said Sheldon a bit evasively. He moved away from the tree and rubbed his hands together to keep them warm, as the early morning air was slightly chilly. '...Well, yes, something did happen,' he finally admitted.

Finy apologized to Asher, without looking at him, he glared back at Crowley, "I don't want your help! You probably steal for a living, you look shady enough!" he yells back at him

The rotting door of the mansion creaked open, the shrill sound making Armin wince slightly. 'Come in, but be quick,' said a deep voice from inside. It was too dark to make out anything besides a vague silhouette. Arminus nodded tightly and set foot into the house, shutting the door quietly behind him.

{Jeremiah was walking down the street with a bagel and coffee in hand when he noticed a very angry looking young man (Crowley) yelling at a white haired person (Finy) and his pointy eared friend (Asher). After a moment, he recognized Crowley as the guy Dianne was insulting last night and decided to get a closer look.}

(Blood)

Crowley smirked and gave Finy the middle finger. 'Dam.n right I do,' he said with relish. 'But that's a good thing, right? I mean, I'm living comfortably in a decent apartment and I can spend my time doing whatever I want. I can't say the same for you, buddy.'

@Radiant (i should probably do that)

"Hmm? What happened?" Tochi remembered Armin, who she had met the previous night, and wondered if Sheldon had made a new aquaintence (sp?) too.

Finy snarled at Crowley, baring his fangs at him, "You really want to p.iss me off? I'm trying to be a decent person, not a complete scumbag like you" he continues yelling, getting more angry by the second.

The pair continues down the street, passing a couple of stores before stopping in front of the flower shop, looking at the outside display. Toby yips at her, pawing her leg. She looks down at him and crouches to his level, checking out whatever it was he wanted her to look at. He places his paw next to a small flowerpot, a dark blue flower sitting sadly inside it. Ango uses a finger to gently lift the flower up, smiling slightly.
"Y'think she'd like this one?"
Toby nods, puffing out his chest a little, making her laugh.
"Yes, I'll tell her that you chose it. We have to pay for it first though, so you have stay outside."
He whines a little, making her laugh a little more.
"Five minutes, Tobes. Just sit right there."
She scoops up the flowerpot, checking the tag for the price while standing up.

(Kole)

Ivy made a small noise of acknowledgement and returned to examining every flower in the entire shop. /I wonder what colour would suit him best?/ she mused.

(Blood)

'Yeah, OK, but in case you hadn't noticed, you're causing a huge scene,' said Crowley, not looking intimidated in the slightest. 'Look, some random people over there are watching us. They're all gonna know how nasty you are.'

"You're the nasty one" Finy spits at him, "You just stay frozen to the pavement forever, see how well everything goes then" he jumps when he hears Asher, looking back at him, "Where did you come from?"

(Draco)

Sheldon looked down at his feet, like he usually did when he spoke. 'I met someone walking home last night,' he replied. 'I think he might have been an investigator or something?' He dropped his voice in case anyone nearby was listening in.

(Blood/Kole)

'I'm not the one deafening everyone in Shacklestone,' said Crowley. He was about to say more when he remembered that other guy had told him to shut up.

{Jeremiah just stands a good distance away from Asher, Finny, and Crowley, listening to what they're going on about. //So, that dark-haired one like to steal? Hmmm, maybe he's the culprit behind some of my theft cases. I'll go talk to him once he's through being aggressive.//}

Inside the mansion, Arminus allowed the shadowed figure to lead him down several pitch-dark corridors until they came to a candlelit room. It was still dark, but with the enhanced night vision granted by his vampiric abilities, he was able to recognise the man beside him. He hastily sunk into a shallow bow, heart thumping a little faster in his chest.
'Count Sargon. I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you,' he said, keeping his voice low and respectful.

Down a dirty alley full of carboard boxes, a furry black and white nose was sniffing around a hole in one the brick walls.

'I-I don't know,' said Sheldon, looking uncertain. 'I don't believe he was investigating ME... at least, I hope not.' He glanced over his shoulder anxiously as a group of students walked past them towards the school, none of them looking at him or Tochi.

(Kole: I don't think I can continue with Crowley right now, but I'll do Ivy before I forget about her.)

Ivy finally chose some flowers she liked and headed over to Nyx, smiling merrily. 'How much will these be? I couldn't see a price tag anywhere.'

"I'm sure he wasn't," Tochi smiled. "You haven't done anything wrong. You know, I met someone last night too."

(Draco)

'R-really? He wasn't... dangerous or anything, was he?'

Sighing, Mortikai shifts a little before sitting up, bringing a flask out of his coat pocket. He notices a dark, shadowy form appear in the corner of his eye, barely reacting to it.
"What d'y' want Brink?"
He mutters, opening the flask and taking a drink.
/Nothing much...just a small favour./ The voice echoes in his head. /I need you to track someone down for me.../
"Lemme guess. Someone not keeping up their end of the bargain?"
/You're as knowlegable as you are sarcastic, my friend./
"How d'y' even get so many people following you? You're meant to be some sorta ancient spirit thing that no one knows about."
/Ah, but the creation of the internet brought many wonders. Many mortals are willing to try anything these days. No precaution at all./
Mortikai chuckles, twisting the cap back onto his flask and pocketing it.
"I suppose so."

Agno waves a little when Nyx notices her, then paces into the shop, hanging in the background while she serves the woman in front of her.

Count Sargon let the uncomfortable silence linger before he spoke up. 'So... Has everything gone well recently?'

'Hm, alright.' Ivy dug around in her pocket and pulled out the money, reaching over to put it in Nyx's hand. As she did this, she couldn't help noticing the shopkeeper's unusual eye colour. 'By the way, you have lovely eyes,' she added with a little smirk.

"No, not at all! Well, he was a little unusual, but perfectly friendly. He had red eyes and... two missing fingers." Tochi told Sheldob.

'Two... missing FINGERS?!' Sheldon repeated, sounding shocked. 'He must have been a criminal! Maybe even a murderer! Who else would have MISSING BODY PARTS?! And if he had red eyes then he must have been a vampire too!'

'Oh, I meant every word,' said Ivy, winking at Nyx as she took the flowers. 'And thank you very much! I'll definitely be back sometime.' Whistling to herself, she left the shop, hardly noticing Ango on the way out.

She steps to the side to let Ivy past, catching a glance of Toby looking in from outside. Ango frowns a little, motioning for him to sit down, as to not obstruct Ivy when she left.

Armin gave a slight smile that didn't reach his eyes. 'Completely,' he said. 'Nobody's noticed a thing, even taking into account how... uptight most of the citizens are nowadays. Everything you asked me to do has been done swiftly and with minimal difficulties.'

Tochi pondered for a few seconds. "Yes, he could've been a vampire... I didn't think of that when I met him. He can't have been a criminal, though, right? Innocent people have lost body parts in accidents."

Ivy spotted the large dog sitting outside the shop and paused, looking down at it. She wasn't too keen on dogs, having been bitten more times than she could remember by her parents' pet terrier when she was a little girl, but stopped anyway and hesitantly held out a hand in greeting. 'Hello...?'

(Jed should do something but I feel I shouldn't just burst into people's conversations?? Can I make him appear outside the flower shop or something)

Ango steps up to the counter, gently placing the pot on top it.
"J-just this please."
She says, cringing a little at her nervous stutter, already gathering a couple of notes in her hand.

Sheldon thought about it for a moment. 'Well... I suppose that's true,' he said carefully. 'And I know--'

At that exact moment, he was interrupted by a girl of about fourteen, who was running in the direction of the school looking petrified. 'MURDER! THERE'S BEEN A MURDER!' she screamed, loud enough for the whole street to hear.

@Radiant You're waiting for @Blood to continue with Crowley, right?

(Draco: I'm sure you can do that if you want, I'd do something with him but I only have 4 characters and one of them is stuck.)

Tobias begins to wag his tail, noticing her hesitance. He sniffs her hand a little, then carefully places his muzzle underneath it, bumping her hand up a little.

(Aggron: Yeah, but it's not too important as I'm doing other things as well.)

She freezes a little, then brings up her handful of notes.
"I-I have enough money...they're for my mom."
She says weakly, scared that the shopkeeper would refuse her service.

Tochi looked at the girl and then back at Sheldon, her eyes huge with shock. "Wh- is she serious? We've got to see what this is about." She grabbed Sheldon's arm and started running to the terrified girl.

Ivy's lips twitched into a small smile as she cautiously patted the dog on the head. She's never approached a dog before without being growled at or attacked in some way. 'I guess you belong to that masked person who just went in the shop,' she mumbled.

Mortikai turns to his left, hearing the faint yelling of murder. He glances at the spirit on his should, who is smiling.
/Well, that sounds interesting. Let's have a look./
"If you say so."
He says as he shifts into his bengal form, a shadowy mist enveloping him as he transforms. Once he is safely in his long-legged form, he sprints towards the source of the yelling.

(Colors keeps dying on me.)

"Wrff?"
Jed made a little dog noise, his fluffy tail wagging. He'd spotted a shop up ahead, and the scent of a fellow dog. That dog, however, probably wasn't a vampire.

(Draco)

Sheldon's eyes went huge behind his hair and he dug his heels into the ground to stop her pulling him anywhere. 'Aaah, w-wait!' he yelped. 'What if she's running away from the... the THING? What if it gets US too?' He was starting to hyperventilate from shock.

He simply rubs his head against her hand, seeming to smile.

(pull yourself together, Colors... you don't have to take an hour to load everything)

{While Jeremiah was waiting on Crowley, he hears the cry of murder. Deciding that this was far more important than a petty thief, Jeremiah takes off towards the crying. //I hope to God this is just a kid playing a prank.//}

Tochi nearly toppled over when Sheldon stopped her. "Okay, okay, we'll stay back, but if no murderer appears then we'll go see if she's OK!"

In the mansion, Count Sargon listened silently to everything Arminus said.
'So you're telling me that, aside from the unusual incident six months ago, not one human has noticed what you've been doing?' he said softly.
Armin opened his mouth to answer, but just then both vampires picked up on the faint sound of a girl screaming in the far distance. Armin could barely hear it, but the Count could easily decipher the word 'murder' mingled with the girl's shrill wailing.
In a quick movement, he grabbed Armin by the collar and pulled him up so he was standing on tiptoes, a low growl rising in his throat. 'Liar. Already, it seems, your activity has been noticed.'

(Sorry about my huge in-between posts. XD)

Agno holds her arms close to herself, feeling quite awkward and wishing that she had worn a different hoodie in better condition.

(Draco)

Sheldon gulped in a lungful of air and clung to Tochi's arm, calming down by a fraction. 'Wait a minute, if the murderer doesn't appear?! They'd better NOT appear!'

(Aggron)

The girl who'd screamed first spotted Jeremiah and, recognising him as an investigator, ran towards him. 'Sir, you have to do something, there's been a murder,' she cried, almost too fast to understand.

Jed trundled over to Ivy and Tobias, barking a greeting. His pale red eyes stood out against his black and white fur.

(King)

Ivy glanced back through the shop window while she absently continued to pet Toby. 'I'm willing to bet you ARE with the masked... girl, I think? I'm assuming she's a girl.' Suddenly remembering she was still holding the flowers and needed to give them to a certain someone, Ivy said a hasty goodbye to the dog and hurried away up the street.

"I know, hopefully the murderer's left." Tochi's heart was pounding, but she kept her voice steady. "If we see anyone suspicious, where should we run?"

{Jeremiah kneels down, grabs the girl by the shoulders, and tries to calm her down.}"Hey, hey, slow down. Start over, calmly. A murder? Who was murdered? And where?"

Having been given a business card by Asher, Ivy already knew where he worked, so she hurried towards the place immediately, blissfully unaware of the chaos just a few streets away.

Sheldon looked like he might faint just from the mention of running away from murderers, but tried to keep himself calm, just as Tochi was. 'Uhm... I suppose we can run towards the school? Even a murderer wouldn't walk into a school full of people, would they...?'

(Whoops, I didn't even notice Asher was also blissfully unaware.)

(Aggron)

The girl gazed up at Jeremiah, breathing quickly. 'I don't know who it was,' she said, trying to keep her explanation clear and easy to understand. 'I was just out walking when I saw the - the body lying in an alleyway. I went to look closer and... there was a huge puddle of blood on the ground underneath it. I d-didn't see w-who the murderer was. I think it happened a few hours ago...'

Ango nods, holding the pot gently in her arms.
"Thank you so much!"
She tries to put as much thankfullness in her voice as possible. Trying to walk casually out of the shop, she relaxes once she sees Tobias. She then notices the husky stood by him, smiling slightly.
"Hey there pup!"
She says, grinning under her mask as she crouches down, holding her hand out to the mysterious dog. Toby stands by her, a little cautious, but excited to see another dog.

"I suppose not," Tochi agreed.
"Look, the girl's talking to someone who looks like an investigator or something..."

(Draco)

Sheldon anxiously followed Tochi's gaze, then jumped slightly. 'Oh!' he exclaimed. 'That's the same man I met last night. He must have come to find out what's going on.'

@Radiant
{Jeremiah slowly stands.}"Show me. Take me to it."

@King
Jed approached Ango, sniffing her curiously. He hesitsted for a moment, then licked her hand.

Armin grimaced and leaned as far back from the Count as he could get. 'Nobody's supposed to have found out!' he said defensively. 'I was very careful to keep everything hidden. All tucked away neatly in the dark. No-one should have found out,' he repeated, looking a little dazed.

@Radiant
Tochi nodded. "I don't think the murder's going to show up while he's around. I think it's safe now."

(wow man *hesitated)

(Aggron)

The girl looked uneasy, not wanting to go back to that place again, but she must have realised how important this was, because she turned and headed off down the street without hesitation. 'It's this way. In a little alleyway, not too far from the school.'

(Kole)

Ivy was still humming cheerfully to herself as she approached Asher's workplace, entering and looking around for him. She'd never been in here before.

(Draco)

Sheldon scuffed his shoe along the pavement. 'I-I guess so,' he said quietly. 'School is probably cancelled, though. After something as outrageous as THAT...' he trailed off, watching as Jeremiah and the girl walked away somewhere.

Ango laughs, the lick tickling her a little. She places the flowerpot on the ground then roots around in her pocket, bringing out a packet of dog treats.
"You want something to eat buddy?"
Toby immediately hangs over her arm, staring at the packet. She laughs lightly.
"Toby, I know you want some treats, but these aren't for you. For now."

Mortikai stops his run nearby the scene where the girl had ran out, watching her lead the inspector away. He pants, both the transformation and the sprint having taken a lot out of him. After a glance at Brink, who urges him on, he casually follows the police/witness pair.

Ivy smiled pleasantly at the man. 'I'm here to see someone, I think his name is Asher Rosenthal?' she said, keeping the flowers hidden beneath the desk. She didn't particularly want to raise any questions about why she was here.

(King: It keeps dying on me too, I've had to restart my DS once because it crashed. XD)

(Friggin colors is being buggy with me too. :( )
{Jeremiah follows the girl, looking about for any possible witnesses.}

Jed poked the packet with his nose. "Wuff?"

"Do we just go home, then? You could come to my house, if you want to." Tochi offered.

Count Sargon regained control of his temper disturbingly quickly, dropping Armin to the floor with a look of disgust. 'This is the second time now that your activities - and by extension, mine - have become public. Once more, and I will have to find someone more responsible than you to carry out these simple tasks.'

(Aggron)

'Just over here,' the girl said, stopping near the entrance of the alleyway and pointing at it. 'You can go and look if you want - I'm not going anywhere near it again.'

(Draco)

Sheldon looked at her properly for the first time, absently brushing the floppy hair out of his eyes. 'I'd like that... If you don't mind, of course!' he added quickly.

(Kole)

'He won't mind being disturbed, will he?' said Ivy, inching forwards to the place where Asher was working, obviously too focused to notice that she'd come in.

Tochi smiled widely. "Of course I don't mind."
She tried not to think about the murder, but a little voice at the back of her mind was nagging her. //What if Sheldon was right about Armin?//

(Kole)

'OK, then. Thank you, sir!' Ivy gave the man a thumbs-up before striding across to Asher. 'Heeeey! Stop working for a second and pay attention to the pretty girl who just walked in!'

(Draco)

'Thank you...' said Sheldon in a barely-audible whisper. 'L-let's go, I don't want to be so close to where... it... happened.'
He gave her a weak smile and nervously linked his hand together with hers. Further away across the street, a couple of older boys laughed and jeered at them.

Wot do I do?

{Jeremiah peeks around the corner. Upon seeing the body, he sighs.}"Damn it...."{Jeremiah then pulls out a clunky cell phone and dials the police.}"Hello, yes, I need to speak to Chief Ohara......Jeremiah Garvey.......Thank you.......Hello, Chief? There's been another murder.......By the school down on sixth........Because I'm looking right at the body.....I don't know why no one's been called yet, some kid just found it.....Yes, I'll wait for them.......Goodbye, Chief." {From there, Jeremiah waits for the police and inspects the body.} ( @Radiant Can you describe the state of the corpse?)

'Yep, it's all me!' Ivy chuckled and moved closer to him, keeping the flowers hidden behind her back. 'Bet you didn't think you'd see me so soon, huh?'

(Blood: Well, Crowley is still where I left him with Finy, so we could continue with them if you like. Asher left though.)

"Here..."
She pours a couple of the treats out into her hand, then holds it out to Jed.

Mortikai strides towards the opening of the alleyway, hoping that his strange appearance wouldn't be noticed. After all, he was just being curious.

(Yeah we could, but I'm not sure where to go with that)

Tochi held on to Sheldon's hand, blocking out the boy's comments as she walked, her mind still on Armin and the murder.

(Aggron: It's in the same condition as the other body found six months ago. Killed by a slash to the throat, probably from behind, and no other notable injuries. It's been left there since earlier in the morning, or maybe the night before.)

Jed took the treats, his tail wagging extra fast as he devoured them. Then he looked back up at Ango, his head tipped to the side.

(Blood: Hmm, I'm not sure what to suggest... my other characters are all preoccupied right now.
Maybe you should give yourself more characters than just Finy? It might make it easier for you to get involved. Just a friendly suggestion. X))

(I'll just head out, I don't really wanna rp anymore right now anyways. More characters? I haven't even finished Finy's human ref. I'll see ya another time)

Sheldon glanced over his shoulder as the boys shouted something at him, but forced himself to look away at Tochi instead. 'I wonder who did the ...murder...' he said quietly as they walked.

( @Radiant Got it.) {Jeremiah inspects the body.//Slashed throat from behind again.// Fairly soon, the police arrive. Jeremiah walks out of the alley and directs them to the body.} ( @Radiant Is the victim a young girl again, or someone else?)

Ivy smirked and leaned casually against a wall. 'Well, I'm here now. I wouldn't dream of staying away from you for long... Oh, and I got you a little present.'

Tochi briefly considered mentioning Armin, but decided not to. "Who knows? I bet it's the same person who caused the other murder six months ago."

(Aggron: The age/gender of the victim isn't important, so you can decide if you like.)

Mortikai trots around the corner and is met with the sight of the inspector next to the body, the stench of blood and other scents colliding with his nose, making him recoil back. He sits to the side, pretending to lick his paw in an attempt to guard himself from the smell.

She laughs lightly, rubbing her hand on the husky's head.
"Good boy."
Toby whines a little, making her laugh more.
"Yes, you are too. You're not jealous, are you Tobes?"

(Draco)

Sheldon shuddered. 'Six months ago...' he echoed. It felt like a hundred years ago, but at the same time he remembered as if it had happened yesterday. 'I saw the news online just a few hours after it happened. Everyone was in such a panic.' He didn't mention that HE'D also been in a panic at the time.

Ivy withdrew the flowers she'd been hiding and held them out to him, smiling widely. 'Just a little token of gratitude for walking me home last night. You were a complete stranger, you didn't have to... but you did it anyway. Just like a hero!' She giggled slightly.

( @Radiant and @King Ok.) {Jeremiah exits the alley as the police start to tape it off. Noticing Mortikai, he walks up to the odd looking, but well hatted cat while pulling out a cigarrete.}"Hey there, Mortikai. What brings you here?"

(Kole)

Ivy rolled her eyes, amused by how flustered he looked. 'Well, don't just stand there gawping. Take the flowers. And be sure to put them somewhere everyone will see them.' She thrusted the flowers into his hand. 'And you're very welcome.'

@Aggron

He chuckles, removing the paw from his face.
"Heh, the hat, right? Always gives me away."
He neatly curls his tail around his paws before continuing.
"Just curious. Same as six months ago? That's a little spooky. Think you've got some sorta...serial killer?"

(Hey everyone, I'll probably have to go soon. It's getting late here.)

Tochi supressed a shiver. "It was horrible, I know... and now it's happening again. Not everyone has even recovered from the first murder."

Jed looked at Tobias and made a small noise. //I wonder if I could speak to this dog? That would be interesting.//

Sheldon stared at her for a few seconds. 'Do you think... there's going to be MORE murders?' he asked, looking faintly horrified.

@King
{Jeremiah chuckles while lighting his cigarrete.}"Sure does look that way. Poor fellah was killed in the same way. On an unrelated note, do you remember that guy you were talking to last night at the bar? Short, dark hair, seemed short of temper? What was his name?"

@Radiant
"I don't know," Tochi replied uncertainly. "But we've got to stay alert just in case."

Arminus quickly picked himself up, restraining the urge to leap at the Count and tear his fangs into his throat. 'It will not happen again,' he said formally, smoothing out the creases in his clothes. 'I will be being /especially/ careful to avoid any human having a clue what your plans are. Now... may I leave?'
Count Sargon paused, then nodded slowly, not speaking.
Armin turned on his heel and swept out of the room, desperate to get outside and breathe in some fresh air. He was doubly uneasy now, knowing how much was at risk. His life was as good as over if he failed his master one more time. He couldn't let it happen... no matter what he was required to do.

(That's all I'm writing for him today.)

(Kole)

'You only had to ask!' said Ivy, pulling up a nearby chair and sitting down. 'Honestly, it was like a dream come true, meeting you last night. You're by far the nicest young man I've met in this horrible city.'

(Draco)

Sheldon felt a cold shiver run up his spine. He was fully aware of how careful they'd need to be from now on. 'I thought that thing six months ago was... a one-off. I didn't realise it was all going to happen again. And what if it WAS the same person? That would mean there's an insane killer living somewhere in this city. They could be ANYONE!'

Tobias yips a little, gently pawing Jed. Ango gently tussles with his ears.
"Hey, we were on a walk weren't we? You wanna come with us husky buddy?"

"Oh, Crowley? Eh, seems like a nice guy. Why do you ask? Just your police curiosity?"
He says with a slight grin.

"True, but if we be cautious then we can stay out of trouble," Tochi assured her panicking friend. 'Don't go into dark or suspicious looking places, especially not by yourself, be careful around strangers..."

Sheldon actually stopped walking for a second out of shock. 'Are you joking?' he said, his voice rising to a squeak. 'I /never/ go into dark or suspicious places, never mind when there are potential murderers hiding in them!'

Jed nodded his fluffy head happily, his tail moving increasingly faster.
