There was once a tale of a beautiful maiden. She lived with her husband and two kids. They supplied beautiful fabric to the nearby town. Her husband would weave the fabric. And she would transport it there and sell it. They had accumulated a great wealth from doing this. They added another floor to their house and provided healthier food for their children. But one day when she was in town selling clothing at the market. She saw a homeless beggar. She quickly beckoned him over and gave him enough money to feed him for a month. The beggar appreciated the donation and wandered off out of sight . Little did she know, The man was not a beggar. But a informant for a local bandit clan that had been staking out the town for several weeks. The informant followed her home to see where she lived. After figuring out where she lived. The informant trekked back to his partners in crime and told them of the wealthy woman and her family. They devised a plan and awaited the time to spring into action.(Continues below)

The maiden had departed to the town once again to sell the lovely fabric they had created the night prior. She arrived at the town and sold a large portion of the wares she had brought to the market. It was a good day. And so she packed up the remaining fabric and set out back home. With prime venison from the local butcher wrapped in paper. Ready to be cooked later on. But when she arrived at her house where she expected a warm greeting from her family. She instead was instead met with the sight of the front door of her families house smashed down. An ominous silence erupted from the now vacant house. Her heart lept to her throat. She ran inside to try and find her family. But her Husband and two kids were nowhere to be found. All that was there was a piece of paper branded with a blood red seal of a Snake. She was devastated. She had to find the ones who abducted her family. And when she did. She would grant them a terrible demise. So she left her home with paper in hand. In search of those who took her family away from her.

She traveled from town to town. Waiting on the outskirts. Capturing those she saw lingering in the shadows. She would interrogate them until she was sure they knew nothing. Those people were never seen again. She did this for years. But one day she heard two shadow dwellers speak of a tournament. A tournament deciding who would be the next ruler of Vepura. She knew that if she won the tournament and became the warlord. That finding the bandit clan that abducted her family would be effortless. And so she was determined to win. And set out to the Tournament-Event site
