The tournament is today. As our heros walk into the arena the thunderous cheering from the crowd was almost deafening. Flags decorated the arena of the fighters. You could hear the grunts from other fighters warming up or training. "Attention!" Said a man standing of the arena. "Fighters we are all here for a purpose! To see if any of ou are worthy of taking up the postion and lead our country with honor. Please enter your designated areas until you are called"

Marius's tail would wag in anticipation. He was not only here for the glory of battle. But also to impress maidens far and wide. He heard the call to go to the battle quarters and await the horn.

"Hrmmm?....Nyaha! Guess its time to get a move on eh?"

He would shuffle confidently toward his designated area

Felicia went to he designated are tome in hand. She was egar to meet her opponent. "I know Im not going to win but it'll still be fun practice!" She skipped happily to the area and was met by a tall wolf man?

Marius heard skipping coming from down the corridor.
His ears would twitch. He was expecting the skipping to go away after whoever it was passed by his room. But he was then met by a short blue haired girl.

"Huh?. Nyahah! nice too see ya kiddo! Come to get an autograph?"

Marius's voice would be full of the same whimsical amusement he had every minute of every day

[Marius]

Felicia looked up at him "Nope! Im in the tournament." She smiled and took a seat on a bench. "I guess youre the one im fighting. Best of luck"

[Felicia]

Marius would doubletake as he heard that.

"Huh!? Wait wait wait WAIT!? How old are you then?!
I would hate to fight a minor...."

[Spectaters]

Kou would walk into the crowd, and he would sit down on the arena stands/bleachers/rows.

"I travelled this far, to watch a couple of men and women battle one another for leadership. We don't even know their motives..."

*He would stretch*
"Mm... At least it'll be entertaining."

[Marius]

"I shall take that as a compliment, I am nineteen years old" she laughs a bit. "Just because im small doesnt mean I dont pack a punch. " she made punching motions into the air then laughed again.

[Announcer]
"Ladies and gentlemen, the tournament is about to begin. Our first fight is between a wolf and a dragon desendent, fighters please make way to the arena!"

[Felicia]

Marius would realize what he did could be taken as extremely rude.

"Oh-oh! Sorry....I bet you pack quite a punch with that there tome of yours....."

Marius would hold out his hand.

"The names Ma-"

Marius would be cut off by the announcement.
He would shrug apologetically and grin deviously.

"Well, looks like were up! Nya! ha!"

Claudiesa heard the announcer and walked out to watch the first fight.

(Round 3 has a free spot. Is dat where I play one of the rent-a-characters?)

Ollie was walking through the spectators trying to find a good spot to watch. Often saying "Excuse me" or "Sorry!" To anyone who didn't notice her.

She saw the fighters enter the arena. "Ah, It's Felicia. Quite ambitious to enter this at such a young age." She was smiling, though none could tell because of the helmet.
She glanced at the wolf man. "Hmm."

[Claudiesa & Ollie]

Kou would glance over and he would see many people moving around more than usual. When he stood up to see why, he had seen Ollie.

"Hey, there's a free seat over here!"

He'd snap his fingers and point down to the spot next to him.

Of course no one could hear the snap because everyone was roaring.

Ollie looked over at Kou. She walked over to him and sat down. "Thank you!" She said stretching her arms.

He'd turn to claudiesa.

"So we meet again..."

Felicia walked to the arena and she looked at the crowds and smile widely "wowwwww hopefully i put on a good show"

Hilde was sitting where most would not notice her, part of her job as a member of one of the Vepura smithing families, was to make sure all rentable weapons were in their best conditions possible. This day has brought a bit of stress to her, since she not only has a job at this event, but her father has pushed her to enter it as well.

[Felicia]

Marius would walk through the big doors leading to the arena battle grounds. His tail would wag with excitement as he saw the cheering crowds. He was loving the spotlight. Marius would be waving to the people around. Smiling the whole time.

[Felicia]
Claudiesa waved in Felicia's direction, puffing flames out of her helmet slits.

[Marius]

Felicia waved at everyone. And held her tome. She wasnt able to use her own fire yet but this tome was going to help her use it none the less.

Announcer: Fighters take your places!

(Hi everyone! ^v^)

Ollie smiled. Looking around at everyone excitedly. "I can't wait!"

[Felicia]

Marius would stop waving as he heard the announcer called for the fighters to get to their places. He would strike a pose. Flexing his almost non existent muscles. He would then turn to Felicia and wave.

"Nyahahaha! This should be fun!"

Claudiesa watched the wolf man flexing. "Pathetic."

After Hilde got done inspecting the next round's contestants prefered weapons, she heads up the stairs to sit and watch with the rest of the crowd, her stress very visable on her face.

[Felicia & Claudiesa]

Marius would sneeze.

"Huh!? Someone must be talkin' bout me!"

[Ollie Claudiesa]

"I hope you enjoy your time watching the battles. I'll be back, I'm getting this Vepuran food. The dragon knights use their fire on corn and it puffs up, then they smother it in salt and butter. They sell some in places like these."

He'd walk over to the stand, after he bought it, he would bump into Claudiesa.

"Oof... My apologies."

He'd think in mind: -"Wait... is that the lady at the festival?"-

Announcer:Let the match begin!

[Marius]
Felicia made the first attack "Dragons breath!" She held out her hand and then it began to glow and spark. It shot out flames at Marius like a drgon breathing fire upon him.

(Lets make this a nice and long back and forth >:D)

Marius would stumble back as the fire singed his bottom feet. He landed on his back harshly

"Gahhh! Daaaang! That was TOO close!"

Marius would quickly recover. He would start lunging in a swift zig-zag motion toward Felicia."

[Kou]

Claudiesa felt someone bump in to her. "Hmm? Oh...it's you. Didn't expect to see you here,gambler."

"Gambler... Heh, Sometimes you need to gamble for the poor people... The name's Kou."

[Marius]
Felicia watched marius move and she the aimed her hand at the ground "lets see how you like toasted feet! Fira!" She shot fire at the ground and the ground was set ablaze

Marius continued to lunge back and forth until his feet started broiling.

"GYAAAAH! MY FEET!"

He would topple over face first into the flames that tripped him.

"OOOF!....GAHHHHHHHH!"

He would roll to the side to get away from the unforgiving blaze that was biting at his body.

[Kou]
She stared intently at him.
"Claudiesa."

[Marius]

Felicias hand ceased to glow and she looked at Marius "Did I over do it?" She looked at the announcer then back at Marius.

Announcer: The fight will go on unless the wolf calls it quits against the little dragon.

[Claudiesa And Ollie]

"Mm..."

He'd nod awkwardly.

"I... I gotta go..."

He'd walk back over to Ollie.

"I'm back." He'd toss popcorn in his mouth.

"Want some?" *He'd hold them out to Ollie"

[Felicia]

Marius would roll in pain on the ground for a few seconds.
He would think to himself: "Is it really worth it?! This chick is relentless!......URK! DANG IT ALL! I MUST NOT WAVER! I HAVE FANGIRLS WHO NEED ME TO WIN!"

Marius would stand slowly. Nursing the burns to his arms.

"This isn't over yet!"

Marius would transform finally into his beast form.
He would do a head-on charge with his newfound resolve.

[Marius]

Felicia stared at his beast form dropping her tome. She stood there frightened as past memories began flooding back to her. She shook her head and quickly picked up her book. "I wont lose!" She waited for Marius to attack having a counter up her sleeve.

Hilde looks around the sands to see if she can find someone she recognizes, she sees Aromn and walks over to him. "well hi again Mr. Tea." she teases slightly

(PTSD ALERT! xD)

Marius would see an opening and lunge for it. He would be mid air with his claw prepared for a brutal wayward strike to Felicia. Little did he know she had a devastating counter strike locked and loaded.

"TAKE THIS FIRE BREATHING NETHER GREMLIN!!!! HIYYYYYAAAAAH!"

Felicia breathed in sharply and her eyes flashed red. She held up the tome and the book swung open, the center glowed bright red, Felicia spoke one word "Engulf" the book shook and shot fire out of its pages, it roared and did as she instructed engulfed Marius. At the end of it all she lost her tome to the fire and would have to use another one.

Hilde shrugs "well, what are you doing here?"

Ollie nodded "I'm from Afai." She said kicking her legs back and forth.

Marius would so excited. He knew this strike was going to hit home. It was perfect! He would get the admiration of all his adoring fan girls! (Which he has none) Then he saw the book open. And his heart sunk. As that same ominous glow from earlier was now going to unleash hell upon him point blank.

"OHH GODS!"

He would be hit point blank by the humungous inferno. The fire would wrap around him like a murderous blanket.

"AGHHHHH! GYAHHH! MERCY!!!!"

He would descend onto the ground. A meteor of failure as he flopped to the ground like a fried fish.
He would lay there. KO'd. Moaning unconsciously about failing his fang girls

[Felicia & Marius]

Claudiesa watched Felicia unleash a powerful blast.
"Ha!" She exclaimed with humor.

He would be a shameful bonfire. Slowly simmering.

[Marius]

"D...Did i win?" She looked at the announcer.

Announcer: By knock out the dragoness has won the first match! Small things do have a big punch.

Felicia jumped up with her arms out "I WON!" She was so happy she teared up a bit. She then looked at Marius and ran over to him. "A-ah! Im so sorry! Here let ms help you get those wounds looked at. " she held her hand out.

"Man....That was one hot attack there person....Ughhh!....."

what he said after would consist incoherent curses that he disappointed his fans (He doesn't have any)

through blurry vision Marius would see a hand. He would reach his singed hand out to grab the welcoming one.
He would sit up.

"What happened?.....Huh?.....Hey! Its you..."

Claudiesa decided to meet them both to congratulate.
Her black scales mail shining in the sunlight. She had left it in her room till the time came to fight.
As she began to move her way through, people made way for her. Some whispering "Is that Render?"

Hilde is a little surprised "oh, I didn't know you two are residents of Vepura"

(Had to get on my iPad, my da wasn't connecting to the Internet )

[Marius]

Felicia smiled a bit "the names Felicia" she pulled him up and help walked him to the medical area.

Marius would enjoy the help. for he did not have the strength to lift himself up. He would nod as he heard her introduction.

"N-Nice to meet'cha Felicia....The names Marius....The one and only Nyehehehe..."

[Felicia & Marius]

Claudiesa entered the medical area. She walked up to them both. "That was a surprise. Congrats, Felicia."

Announcer: Those flames were huge werent they? *he laughed* would the next two fighters make their way to the arena at this time!

[Marius]

"I didnt burn you too bad did I?" As she walked him she spotted Claudiesa walking towards them and her face instanly lit up happily.

Hilde looks at the stairs "gotta go, see you later Mr. tea" *she walks into the preparation area and gets on her armor

Felicia smiled as claudiesa congradulated her. "It was the tome that mostly did it. I still cant conjure my own flames yet." She helped marius sit on the medical table.

Marius would reply.

"A little bit...I have burns here. And here. an-"

Marius would see Claudiesa. He would look her up and down. He would change from a mopey voice to being extremely confident

"I mean- Nahh! Ain't the first time I wrestled with fire babe! I'm a sucker for pain!"

[Felicia & Marius]

Claudiesa overheard Marius's boasting. "Are you sure? It didn't look that way on the battlefield when you're rolling on the ground yelling mercy."

[Felicia & Claudiesa]

Marius would be about to reply. But he would frown as he was not sure how to combat Claudiesa's blunt remark.

"er....eh....Well I had to put on a good show for the people! Am I right?!"

Hilde's armor is comprised of mostly steel plates, except for her mittens, head, and pants which are comprised of re-Inforced leather armor, she grabs her war hammer which is bigger than her, and moves any stray hairs out of her eyes. She starts to walk out into the arena, taking a deep breath to calm herself.

[Claudiesa and marius]

Felicia rolled her eyes at Marius's boasting. "Well then I guess you dont need my help anymore. Mr.Wolf"
[Hilde and Aromn]
Announcer: Now the last battle was a doozy but this one should also be quite interestin folks. Would the fighters please enter the arena!

[Felicia & Marius]

A puff of flames slipped out of her helmet. "No."

[Marius and Claudiesa]

Felicia pouted "Youre not saying you let me win are you?" She looked at the floor thinking how she did so well but it could of been all a sham.

[Felicia and Claudiesa]

"er....Well it is true that it hurt...And I am a bit weak after exerting myself....But I....I....DON'T LEAVE ME! PLEASE!"

[Felicia & Claudiesa]

Marius would be torn. He hated making people feel bad. But he wanted to look impressive too. He sighed.

"Nah...Ya got me good.....I..I just.....Oh well...Just thought I would do so well....And I got one round KO'd..."

(Aromn)

Hilde sees that Aromn is on the other side of the arena and gets a sort of annoyed look as she says sarcastically "oh... Great..."

[Felicia & Marius]

"Don't pout. You beat him in the fight and you won. He's a lech trying to save face." She said matter of factly with no malice.

[Felicia & Claudiesa]

"er...Come on...No need to be so prickly.....I already admitted my defeat.......Sort of... Nyehehe..."

[Hilde and Aromn]

Announcer: Alright match 2 is about to begin! Will it be the warhammer wielding gal or the man with the whip? Let the match begin!

[Marius and Claudiesa]

Felicia looked up to claudiesa "I'll be rootin for yah when its your turn claudiesa!" She gave Marius a soft smile "Isnt it nice when you be a little humble? If you were maybe girls will start to like you"

Hilde readies her hammer, and hits the ground, sending a shockwave that makes Aromn unbalanced, as she has the openening she rushes over and hits him harshly in the ribs, sending him sprawling.

She looked back at Marius. "Get well soon wolf man." She said with some slight humor in her voice. "Let's watch the next fight."

Marius would nod emphatically

"Yeah! I wonder what the next match will be like!"

"Goodbye Marius" she smiles and looks at claudiesa. "I wonder whose fighting now."

Marius would wave.

Felicia followed behind "Im going to need a new tome by my next match" she laughs a bit. she looks at the arena and see Hilde and Aromn. "Theres a human andd.... a dawrf? Or is she an elf?"

"We'll see if we can get you another one. Lots of weapons are sold during events like this."

She looked at the new fighters.
Hmm, might be both. Her ears are pointed, but has the highth and complexion of a dwarf. I saw her earlier inspecting the weaponry for the tournament."

Hilde smirks "all's fair in love and war, Tea." She slowly walks towards him, ready to parry.

"lets just hope your attacks are better than your fliting" she hits the ground with her hammer again, but instead for rushing at him this time, she pushes herself off the ground using her hammer and her strength and lunges at him with surprising agility.

"Wow! She just propelled her self like it was nothing!" She watched the fight.

"why aren't you fighting?! if you're not going to fight me, then just give up!" she rams him with her hammer then flings him.

Claudiesa nods in respons to Felicia's observation.
"Probably got that from the elven end, they're swift."

Marius would be eating popcorn. walking back and forth. Viewing the battle.

"Peh...That guy ain't defendin' himself. I learned very early on that holding back against women is a mistake.......Why am I talking to myself? Nyehehe!"

Marius would sit down on a bench. Nibbling on his popcorn. His hair was still singed and his burns were still throbbing painfully. So he wasn't even in the mood to flirt. He would sigh.

"Gosh...That Felicia lady could use a tome....She reminds me of another Gremlin......Only Felicia is a lot less....Violent...I am still talking to myself...Nyehehe!..."

Marius would nod. He would raise his head and notice he was talking to a girl.

"Heyyy....Wait a minute....You haven't insulted me or slapped me yet?......That's a first...."

Marius would toss a piece of popcorn into his mouth

"Ya know....I went and visited quite a few places in my time...And the place I visited recently...Was full of a bunch of people.....who never really liked me....Not too much anyway...even though I fought alongside em....Its a shame that I find more hospitality amongst strangers ya know?.."

He would itch the back of his head. Itching at an inch that probably wasn't there

Marius would nod.

"I'm sorry about that......But ya know?.... at least you got a mom. A lot of the guys I hanged with awhile ago didn't have any parents....They all were orphans...At least most of them were anyway...."
