Having strong beliefs of justice, Lana decides to take the role of judge, jury and executioner and punish the Dormer. The Dormer were a couple of researchers that used humans and other creatures on their experiments. Some say that they took the willing to live out of their test subjects before experimenting on them. After making the Dormer pay with their lives Laura took their son Rory to live with her and her two sons Fintan and Bhaltair. After an accident where Fintan dies, Rory escapes and takes the blame for his brother's death. He urges Bhaltair to come along .But being young and shaken by the death of his brother, Bhaltair decides to remain by his mother side. Rory escapes to Anerjica while Bhaltair erases all of Rory's tracks so Lana can't find him. The death of Fintan has only made her even more cold and distant, relying only on her beliefs of "true justice".
