(It could be a really bad yeast infection. They're gross but they thankfully go away quickly if treated correctly!)

Hmm I was gonna talk to you about it but I never got the chance to catch you when you were free. But from my understanding it could be a number of things the main one being, (and I hope that it's this one) is that your hormones estrogen and progesterone, fluctuate between the first year of puberty. So that could be one of the reasons for the prolonged bleeding. But you said that its been going on for a year? Well that could be a number of other things... and well I don't really want to name them x(

But it's good that you're seeing your doctor, they'll know what to do. Generally if is normal and your hormones are just being wacky then they might put you on birth control. But I'm no doctor so I'll leave the dignostics to the professionals.
