Here's how I think Marcus would look in FiM's artstyle. :P
Drawing in the show's style is actually
/super easy/ once you've gotten familiar with horse anatomy.
If you draw ponies a lot, be it in your own style or in FiM's, you owe it to yourself to either look up a bunch of horse stuff online, or get a book or two focused on horses. I've got a book that has several different horse breeds in it and it's helped me tremendously in how I draw horses.

It's the style. Marcus' legs are average length. XD
Now, clark (that sour grump blue batpony who used to be bat/unicorn) has short legs.

I used a human analogue and morphed it until I had a pony when I first started drawing MLP. Strangely enough, most mamals' anatomic structures can be reconciled to the human figure. SCIENCE! (oh, wait...) BIOLOGY!!!

i'll need to get me books dedicated to dogs & wolves cus i draw those guys the most (& the majority of my ocs are dogs/wolves)
