This guy is no ordinary fire variant, he's an Alpha, the strongest of the species (There are other Alpha's, for each variant). The fire he breathes burns hotter and longer than a regular fire variant. He's also at a Niironox's maximum height.

His egg being laid in magma, help him grow strong, it made his armor plating near indestructible. He can light his quills on fire and fire them off at enemies.

Being an Alpha, he has a natural commanding presence, a single glare from him can quiet others. But his status can be taken from him, if one other Niironox is brave enough.

If his Alpha status is ever taken, during the course of 10 days, his horns will fall out, regrow as regular horns and he'll shrink in size (Only about 5ft). This also applies to any other Alpha.

His kind dwell in harsh warm climates, usually found in deserts or volcanic places. They're different from the volcanic variant, for various reasons and tend to clash with them.

They have the shortest tempers and have been known to devour humans. His black 'light' traps the eyes of humans or anyone he deems prey, once you look into it, you can't look away until he leaves or until it's too late...
