i like to think that quails mum (Pollenleap) was like a really sweet cat who like was very gentle but after she had quail she became sick and frail and spent most of her days in the med den, when the attack happened in the clan (the one @wulf made up) she rushed in too fight but got like messed up and died, and quailpaw was like "sobs y" and shes like " lmao cheese" and then like died a while after

also quail's mentor was like "lol shes r useless" and quail was like an angry apprentice just wanting to prove that shes are useful also that she can be stronger than her dead mama, but idk why but she got kits and is now the worst person we know

Tbh I had to read this like 5 times because every time I read it all I would see is "sobs y" and "lmao cheese" and then you guys talking about wulf's funny. I do like this story though!
(Also I keep running around checking ages to try and figure out where Bracken is at this point and idk if Quail's young enough to be an apprentice during the coyote attack, unless she was still an apprentice at 40ish moons haha.)
