Ska is a musical genre that predates reggae.
In the late 90s snd early 00s, Ska-Rock became something of a culture in America. Bucket hat and cargo pants sales noticed a slight increase along with more people growing soul patches. It looked like Ska culture would reach mainstream levels of popularity before being toppled by emo and other types of rock.
