Thuun skidded to a stop at an intersection in the Treasure Seeker fortress, his heart pumping as he glanced bak and forth. "How did we get ourselves at the fourth corridor? Gir's back at the twelfth!" the gray dragon shouted in frustration. "Mother, have you lost her scent?"

He scowled and ran in front of her. "Then where did the green dragon named Lora disappear too?!" He bared his teeth.

Panting from exertion, Coldfire swept through the fortress, his pupils slitted and wings pumping determinedly. //I'm almost there... I still have her scent!// Finally, the black and white dragon burst out of the entrance of the keep and paused to take in his surroundings. //Where is she? Giranja, I'm coming!//

He scowled and flew off. "You'll never know what hit you once Day finds out your the reason Tilarr has Lora..." He mumbled before flying off.

"Let's," Thuun agreed, pivoting and flying in the opposite direction. His nostrils flared, straining to catch his sister's smell.

(Ooooooooh *w*)

(Dun dun DUUUUN!!)

As Coldfire hovered in place, he heard a blood-curdling scream that sent a cold wave down his spine. //Giranja.// Immediately he dove in the direction of the cry, wings beating as rapidly as his tired muscles could. "Giranja! Giranja!!" he shrieked, eyes wide in growing horror. //She's dead. They killed her. And it's all my fault.//

Day flew towards the fire, she stared at the monster that made it and seemingly killed Giranja. "Oh you are gonna pay for setting fire to my forest!" She yelled, glowing brighter than normal, getting brighter by the second. She spit molten gold at it. The SunFury's pupils started to disapear.

Coldfire finally caught sight of a flaming tree and he tipped himself in that direction, but he nearly stopped when he saw the abomination below. A red, horrifying, four-winged dragon stood on the mountain, and a smaller yellow dragon which he recognized as Day was attacking it. //Where's Giranja?... What happened to her?// he wondered in a rising panic, watching the scene uncertainly.

The creature sighed looking at the vegetation, it sniffed at a leaf.

For a moment, Coldfire could only hover in the air, watching the fiery beast take flight. //Four wings... Same accessories... A scar...// The white dragon's eyes widened in horror and realization. //Giranja. That's Giranja.// His head seemed to spin, unable to comprehend what had happened to his friend. //What do I do?... I can't fight her - I'll hurt her. But she's out of control. I can't do anything at all. I'm too weak!// he thought in despair, whimpering lightly.

Coldfire's heart raced faster when the dragon began to advance on him, its blazing eyes taunting and menacing. The white dragon longed to turn and flee, but he knew it was his friend before him, somewhere inside the fiery beast. He couldn't abandon another person. Not again. "Giranja!" he called out desperately. "Giranja, wake up! It's me! Coldfire!"

Day screeched, the glowing of the beast, brighter than the sun. The SunFury's pupils were only a yellow blur and her mouth started dripping of molten gold. Her frills shot spikes out of her ear/horns and her spine of spikes grew longer. The gold ran down her whole body and ran down her wing tips into large golden vines she seemed to be able to control. Day was driven by pure Fury as she charged, screeching a painfully loud sound at the beast. She circled it very quickly, wrapping her molten vines around the fire beast.

(Now I can tell you. I drew half of Day in her normal and the other half of her rage form.)

(Whoops, looks like Day took the spotlight. Coldfire will have his moment later on then.)

Coldfire shrieked in surprise and pain when the beast whooshed by, its thick talons tearing through the scales on his right shoulder. Losing his balance for a moment, Coldfire tumbled aside, and when he spread his wings to steady himself, searing pain burned in his shoulder, provoked by his flexing wing muscles. He gripped his arm with his left hand and glanced back at the red dragon, which was being attacked by Day again. "No... don't hurt her! That's Giranja!" he shouted to the SunFury.

The SunFury still couldn't fully control her rage form. The last time she broke out into Fury, BloodBack nearly died. She couldn't let out one word, just kept screeching. (She has anger issues. I don't irl xD)

(The mountains of Dola)

Her tail swung at the NBW, it looked like a sun itself. The large ball of fire slammed into them and caused horrible searing pain and temporary blindness. She was only trying to weaken it, not kill it. But she seemed as if she was killing Giranja.

(I ought to give Coldfire a rage form so that he isn't the only character here who's normal. XD)

The SunFury released her grip. Sending Giranja flying at the burning tree. The glowing vines hardened and glowed brighter as the sun's natural rays caused the vines to heal her. Day's flapping slowed, soon she was plummeting to the ground, spiraling in the air.

(Giranja. They were wrapped around her/NBW)

Coldfire watched as Day threw the corrupted Giranja toward the ground and then began to heal her, unable to do anything to help. //I knew it... I'm useless.//

Thuun narrowed his eyes in determination, his wings beating faster and faster as he raced toward the end of a hallway. "Almost there... almost there..." Just as he reached the end, he turned toward the entrance on the right, only to screech to a stop moments away from colliding with a dead-end. "Aww, come ON!" he shouted in agitation, giving the wall before him an unwelcome puff of fire. "We're never getting out of here! Giranja!" he called, pivoting and flying down the left hallway instead.

(His mission was to save Giranja, and he's obviously failed, in his eyes. It'll be hard to convince him otherwise. UoU)

Thuun slowed to a stop, considering his mother's advice. "Hmm. That'd be a good idea," he admitted, reverting to using his senses to locate other dragons. He shortly heard the clamor of guards down a distance corridor, and he headed in that direction. "There we go!"

(When he's flustered, Thuun kinda stops thinking logically and smartly. 'xD)

Finally Coldfire forced himself out of his miserable trance and he descended toward the red dragon. "Giranja?" he called out reluctantly, unsure if she would answer or attack.

(Heh, yeah, I'll try and join in this time. It's been three rps since I've actually done anything, I probably should do something with my characters before they rot away. :P.)

( @Meghan, I'm sorry but you dont have control over the time. It is the afternoon, I choose when it gets dark. Again sorry.)

( @Galaxy: Yeah, you definitely should. Depending on how the next few minutes turn out, Coldfire might be available for your characters to interact with.)

After the vined healed her, they shattered and the wind blew the golden dust away.

Thuun nodded his head rather meekly at Elanceria's remark before returning his attention to the task before them. Up ahead, five or six dragons stood just in front of the fortress exit, arguing and growling. //Hmm, not much at all. This should be easy.// With an exhilarated grin, the black dragon landed and stepped forward, his head raised with confidence. "Hey, punks! You wanna fight?" he taunted them, flaring his wings as a challenge.

Day was unconscious, she hit the ground hard making a stomach churning crunch

"Giranja," Coldfire breathed worriedly, landing and coming up to the bleeding dragoness' side. "Are you alright?" was all he could say.

(Day, do you want to control the Treasure Seeker guards or shall I? No obligation)

As the Eclipse continued an strange object fell to Sylyore

Coldfire backed away as Giranja carried herself away from the burning tree and slumped to the ground. He frowned anxiously, unable to share in the humor of her sarcasm. "You shouldn't worry about me or Day - you need to get that wound fixed," he told her, glancing to the scar on her side. "Shift so that I can bandage it. I-It's the least I can do," he whispered.

Finally tired of standing in the same place, Nick sighed. "Let's get back down there." He pointed down. "You never know what might happen, but I don't want to become good for another creature. We could be seen easily up here." Sapphire nodded and the two began making their way back to lower ground. "Though, you could easily change and probably kick butt to stay alive." Sapphire said. With a chuckle, her friend replied, "You're funny. Though I could, I'd probably find a way to get out than fight."

(I guess I'll control the guards then?)

The dragons by the entrance simultaneously looked up and toward Thuun when he spoke, their expressions going hostile. "Those are some of the intruders!" one exclaimed, pointing a curved talon.
Another dragon bared his teeth, his size indicating that he was the leader of that wing. "One of them is also a traitor alongside Giranja. Get them!"
Immediately the guards pounced toward Thuun and Elanceria, but Thuun only grinned wider and charged forward. "One who takes out more wins!" he exclaimed before throwing himself into the lead dragon. He slashed at his opponent's scales before blasting another guard's face with fire.

(Lol XD)

As gently as he could, Coldfire rolled Giranja onto her back and then shifted as well, kneeling by her side. He retrieved a bundle of bandages (from who knows where - I never gave him a bag or satchel!) and carefully began to bind the scar on her side. His shoulder throbbed with immense pain, a dark stain appearing on the sleeve of his coat, but he ignored it, his friend's safety the only thought on his mind. //This is all my fault....This never would have happened if I hadn't led those SunFuries here. I should never have returned.// Finally he finished bandaging Giranja's scar and took off his jacket, revealing the ugly gashes on his shoulder. He sat her up enough to drape the coat over her shoulders, then laid her back down, gazing down at her remorsefully. "I'm so sorry," he whispered.

(My comments are gonna get slow for a while, sorry in advance!)

Lost in the excitement of the moment, Thuun tackled dragon after dragon, not checking to see whether Ela was joining in or not, nor counting how many opponents he conquered. He slashed a dragon across the face before flapping his wings, lifting himself into the air long enough to kick out with his legs and send the guard flying backwards. He landed on his feet and wings and glanced around, searching for another opponent, but all of them had been defeated. "Haha, suckers!" he roared triumphantly. Thuun then remembered their mission, and he turned toward the exit and spread his wings. He took one last glance behind him to check if Elanceria was following before soaring out the gates.
"Woah, who turned off the lights?" he pondered aloud when he noticed how dark it was outside. He looked around some, then observed something falling from the sky. "Wonder what that is?..."

Coldfire gazed at Giranja sadly, reaching out to gingerly brush a lock of hair away from her face. "It's alright... Just rest now," he whispered. After watching her a moment longer, he stood up and began to walk away, his heart tormented. //I'm sorry, Giranja.... Everyone I meet has a curse fall upon them. You'll be better off without me.... Goodbye.//

The wyvern squinted at the descending object, curiosity piqued. "Hmm, should we check it out?" he pondered aloud, completely forgetting about their earlier mission as he was overwhelmed by the intriguing phenomena around them.

A creature walked through the trees, it's hooves clanking alittle against the ground. It looked around with excitement in it's eyes//where am I now?!// it questioned.

(This was the consequence of him being unable to save Giranja that I mentioned earlier, btw e-e)

Thuun winged his way after his mother, eyes fixed on the falling object. //Geez, it sure is taking it a while to reach the ground. I wonder what it is?//

(Lol XD At least she has a keepsake from him.)

Coldfire gritted his teeth, expression agonized, when Giranja weakly called after him, but he forced himself to keep walking. Away from the last person that was his friend. Away from Giranja. Pointless hatred toward himself burned in the shapeshifter's heart, and he squeezed his wounded arm to distract himself, but the pain from the gashes could hardly be compared with the agonizing torturous agony in his heart.

(Our characters are investigating the falling object now. Are you going to reply now, meghan?)

The thing fell in the middle of a forest, taking countless trees with it

( @Creahra: I don't know, actually. XD I'm indecisive between a t-shirt and a sleeveless shirt, but I guess it's going to be a t-shirt.)

Thuun let out an impressed whistle when the object impacted into a nearby forest with a tremendous crash. "That's quite some object indeed - let's go!" he said in anticipation, quickening his flight until he was flying over the forest. "Where'd you go, little meteor?"

( @Creahra: I'll take that as a compliment. XD But no, I'm not getting rid of him. He's just gonna curl up into a depressed ball for a little while.)

Something started to move in the crash, a creature

After reaching the ground, Sapphire didn't stop, she kept walking, as for her dragon friend, he needed a second to catch his breath. "Where are we going?" Nick asked, having to jog a little to catch back up. "You seem out of breath.." sapphire commented, skipping the question for a minute. "Is been a while since I've walked that much in my human form. Besides, you do too." Sapphire shrugged. "Anyway, I have no idea where we're going, I just saw no point in stopping."

Coldfire walked for some distance in the darkness of the lunar eclipse, his insides in turmoil. Finally he stopped to lean against a boulder, and the tears began to fall. His shoulders shook as he cried silently, hand pressed to his face to try and stop the tears, but they still flowed down his cheeks, burning like unquenchable fire. //Why does it have to be this way? Why do I leave curses wherever I go?//

( @Creahra: Lol why not? XD

@Galaxy: If you want your characters to run into a miserable ball of depression, now's your chance. I don't blame you if you'd rather pass. X'D)

The creature is black, looking somewhat like a SunFury

Thuun let out an excited dragonish trill and swooped over to the clearing. He landed, folded his wings neatly, and cocked his head at the moving creature. "Hey there, space dragon," he greeted it, his curiosity overcoming his instincts to to be wary of the stranger.

"Hmm, maybe?" Thuun continued to observe the black creature. "The ones back home never fell from the sky like meteors though," he stated casually.

Beginning to become tired of walking, Sapphire almost said to just stop. That was until she felt something near by. "You feel that?" "Feel what, Wolfie?" Sapphire shook her head, "You've got bad Dragon senses. Come on.." She turned and followed what she felt. "It's something, I'm just not sure what..." Then Sapphire suddenly stopped, something in the distance got her attention. Nick just barely stopped before bumping into her. "What is it?" He asked, Whispering slightly. Sapphire pointed up ahead to the something she had felt. "It looks like a person?"
(This took way too long to type and I have no idea why x))

Day didn't move, she was out cold.

After a while, Coldfire's quiet sobbing came to a cease, and he stared blankly into the distance, trying his best to keep his mind from wandering back to Giranja. Nevertheless, images of her face and his feelings of failure continued to harass him. His left hand squeezed into a fist. He wanted to punch something, unleash the emotions that had yet to be released, but all there was to strike was the boulder he was slumped against, so he eventually unballed his fist and sighed.

( @meghan? You still here?)

(That could be it, or she got distracted.

@Day: Ahh I'd send a character over to Day if I could!)

Sapphire stood in place, watching the person the best she could in the dark. (I'm pretty sure it's dark, right? XD) She felt a tap on her shoulder and looked over. "Are you going to stand her like a creep or...?" "Looks who's talking... if I remember correctly-" "Yeah, yeah, keep going." Turning back forward, Sapphire nodded, "Anyway, let's go say hi. Though I have to say, something feels.. hm.." she didn't finish, but instead carefully began walking forward. 'I could be doing something totally stupid.. oh well..' she thought.

Through the silence of the night, Coldfire detected the faint sound of footsteps in the mountainous terrain. He glanced up, suddenly wary, his left hand opening up in case he needed to summon his sword.

The creature yawned laying doan and tucking its legs underneath it's body as it laid its head down trying sleep.

No response, her spine seemed broken and her breaths were short, the sun was no longer visible so she couldn't regenerate.

"Huh. Is it dead?" Thuun pondered when Queen Elanceria prodded the creature but it didn't move. He reached out a talon and poked it as well, hoping for a reaction. "You think space dragons are edible?"

Finally coming up to the person, but still a few feet away just to be safe, Sapphire raised her hand in a slight wave. "Hello..." She said, somewhat quietly to keep from possibly scaring whoever she was talking to. He seemed familiar, but sapphire just couldn't place it. Her wolf sences died down when in her human form, so it was usually hard to know something just based on feeling when like this. That and it was dark, another thing that never seemed to help much. (I'm usually much faster and with better ideas XD)

"Only one way to find out," Thuun said eagerly, reaching out one clawed wing and grasping the black Fury. He bean to drag it out of the mini crater it was in, licking his lips in anticipation. "I haven't eaten since yesterday."

Coldfire's eyes widened when he recognized the voice of the stranger, and he hurriedly raised an arm to wipe the tears away from his face. He figured that the darkness would hide any remaining moisture, but he still turned his face away. "You shouldn't be here," he murmured.

The SunFury glowed a bit, still no movement though.

(Alrighty, give me just a moment)

The odd SunFury-like dragon started to awake tiredly

"Oh, so it is alive," Thuun said rather simply, retrieving his wing. He reached out a foot and poked the black creature's flank. "Hey you - buddy. You awake yet?"

The ground of Sylyore starts to shake. Some greenwood trees toppling over, the middle of the ground cracks and large purple and black spikes break through, the spikes ascend higher revealing a large ominous looking tower. The grass around it turns a light purple and the trees turn rotten. The tower was pure evil. A loud roar game from the top of it, a large purple and black female dragon flies around it.

(Ooh, epic! Too bad it'll probably interrupt the encounter between Sapphire and Coldfire, but oh well.)

Day twitched awake, finally healed. The rumbling made her barf out molten gold and her eyes opened widely. The empress rolled over and weakly stood up.

(Actually, where they currently are, they probably won't see te tower, but they'll feel the ground shake and hear the roar)

The strange dragon looked up to the darkened sky

She turned to Giranja. "I am forever grateful. But what was that roar from?" She said in concern.

About to speak, Sapphire looked down as she felt the ground shaking. "It's almost like the ground agreed to what you said, but I'm sure it was a coincidence.." She chuckled and looked back up, the roar she heard kinda went in one ear and out the other. She heard dragons roar a lot, so she was just used to it in an odd way. "So, why shouldn't I be here?" She asked, placing her hands in the pockets of her jacket. She thought she knew the voice of the speaker, but she wasn't about to make any assumptions in case she was wrong. (WiFi problems.. :<

Thuun sat back in disappointment. "You're ignoring me? No fun," he huffed. "What're you looking at? It's not like a giant tower's gonna burst from the gr--" Before he could finish his sentence, the ground shook violently and a giant, ominous tower rose from the earth, visible even from where they stood amongst thick trees. "What the-- How does that happen?!" Thuun yelped, ruffling his wings in exasperation.

Coldfire felt the earthquake as well, but he did not turn around. He kept his face in the shadows, obscured from Sapphire and Nick's vision. "You'll be cursed. Every person that has become my friend has. Why should it be any different with you two?" he murmured.

Sapphire thought for a minute, she knew who it was, and even though she was happy to see him alive after that fight he had been in, she was more curious about why he seemed so different from the last time she had seen him. "I don't think I'll be cursed.. Unless it's a magical curse, it's all just bad luck." She shrugged and rocked back on her heels a bit. "Are you okay?"

"What do you think?" he said stiffly. He could now see the figures before him better, recognizing the tan dragon behind Sapphire.

(It's not something that's easy to figure out - in fact, I have little to no idea how I came up with it myself - but it has to do with his abilities. It's kinda hard to predict what magic can do, haha.)

Sapphire watched Coldfire move from the shadows, she blinked for and one of the first things her eyes went to was the wound to his shoulder. "Um.. Heh, I'm going to say it's a no.." She was slightly surprised, the other times they had met, Coldfire didn't come across as a Shifter. Or at least to Sapphire he didn't. "Mind me asking how you got so... injured?"

(Arg, me not we.. I looked over that so many times and still missed it.)

Day flew off towards the tower but her flapping slowed a bit. The world started spinning as she started spiraling to the ground, right at where ColdFire and Saphire were. Soon, the SunFury crashed, tearing up the ground badly. With a mouthful of dirt, the SunFury fainted. (CoughLowBeetsCough)

The creature heard faint voices he couldn't tell whether they sounded hostile or not but he also didn't want to intrude of make anyone upset. He decided to walk in the opposite direction of the voices to be careful.
Denzo laid in a tree his tail swished as he watched the ground below, he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. Lifting his head off the branch, he watched the strange creature. He curiously got up from laying and sat on the branch, careful not to startle it.

(Hmm, that reminds me that Coldfire's never seen Sapphire in her human form before... Whoops.)

Coldfire eyed Sapphire up and down for a moment, not as surprised as he would have been any other day due to the weight in his heart at the moment. Her asking how he received his wound brought the memories of his encounter with the corrupted Giranja back, and his bitter mood went sour. "That's none of your concern," he nearly snarled before catching himself and looking away, forcing himself to swallow back his emotions. //Don't pour your anger out on her... She's done nothing wrong.//

(Ahh Day, you may not want to put here where Coldfire is, as I'm about to leave...)

(Plus, they're pretty far from the tower. xP)

(She flies pretty darn fast actually. So since she couldn't see... I just want to have Saphire meet Day and ColdFire get to know her more. Its fine if you gotta go soon :3)

Sapphire hadn't expected the reaction to the question, but with what she got, she felt there was something behind it and Coldfire didn't want to talk about it. "Okay, then." She said, now sort of feeling bad for asking, but she gave a small smile to push it aside. "You're probably right anyway."
