I highly recommend the Shantae game series. A charming Metroidvania action-platformer with excellent animation, gameplay, and music, as well as a plot that doesn't take itself seriously very often.

I have heard these games are good. I do like platformers, so I've been meaning to get one of them. Any suggestions for which one to start with?

Re: Thanks! This was the first time I've really done that. I wasn't sure if it would work but I needed it to portray the room right. I'm happy with how it came out though!
