There's nothing wrong with lose lines! Your line art is good!

If you want to draw more realistic, then draw from references. Grab a glass/cup/apple etc and try drawing it.
It'll turn out way better than you'd think!

I you want to draw people, then sketch the models in magazines or catalogues! Clothing catalogues will help with the clothes problem too!

Yeah!
Draw them! If it doesn't come out the way you want, come back to it later with a fresh prospective, see why it's looking "weird" and try again on a different canvas.

Also, a neat drawing exercise is to draw your hand, but with your eyes closed, focusing on what your hand feels like, and what you it looks like. It's a really neat practice exercise, and it helps "wake up" the creative part of the brain.

Then try drawing your hand, eyes open or closed. Studies and sketches don't need much creativity.
